I have been wanting to break out my Thankful Accents set for some time, so when I was thinking of a project to create for this hop I immediately thought of this set! I mean, just LOOK at that gorgeous circular frame!!! Is it not just absolutely GORGEOUS!!?!! Happy sigh... After I had my circle frame stamped, I was trying to decide what I should put in it...when I had this idea!! Delightful & Delicious and Thankful Accents...don't you think they were meant for each other? :-)
Because I was just too excited about the stamp set match-making I had just done {{giggle}}, I knew I wanted to make something more "permanent" than a card. That's when I remembered a project Jennifer Holmes had created...a notebook using two rectangle coasters! I dusted off my bind-it-all and got to work! :-)
The patterned paper is all from The Girl's Paperie...which set the stage for my shabby chic style project. Aside from the focal image, I used the flower stamp (from Thankful Accents) and embossed it using Clear Detail e.p. all over the patterned paper (see close-up photo below). I also used one of the single flourish images to create a pink border that I tucked in underneath my ribbon.
I tell ya, this circle frame combined with this coffee cup makes me absolutely giddy! I love it! For a little more detail, I added a heart to the front of the cup...as well as three little rhinestones.
Here's a peek at the inside. I used one of the sentiments from the Delightful & Delicious set combined with some little corner flourishes (from the Thankful Accents set). Oh, and more The Girl's Paperie patterned paper... :-)
