Waltzingmouse March Release ~ Day 3...

Good morning!  Have you been enjoying all of the Waltzingmouse previews?  SO many gorgeous new stamps are coming your way soon (tomorrow, to be exact)!   :-)

For my project today, I made another little notebook inspired by the ones Jennifer Holmes makes!  As soon as I saw the first one she made, I quickly ordered some rectangle coasters so I could make some of my own!  Thanks Jennifer for the fabulous idea!!  :-)

Happy sigh...  Can you BELIEVE it!!??!  Claire has designed the most gorgeous banner sets!  AND, get this...they are Spellbinders compatible!  Oh yeah!!!  I cannot wait for the Spellbinders pennants to be released...but in the mean time, I found that both the Vintage Banners & Bitty Banners sets were easy as pie to cut out with my scissors if I wanted to!  :-)

My little notebook uses the upcoming Vintage Banners set combined with some yummy My Mind's Eye papers.  I layered one of the included sentiments onto the banner as well as stamped a scrolly (is that a word?  :-) border along the bottom edge.  A few embellishments later and my notebook was finished!

Good morning!  We've got another fun day of Waltzingmouse Peeks for you!  Today, the DT is sharing projects with the soon to be released Vintage Labels 18!

I absolutely love all of Claire's Labels sets and this one is no exception!  Even though this set is designed to go with the Spellbinder's Labels 18 dies, this set also works perfectly without the dies!  A little bit of trimming and my focal point was ready to go!  :-)  The sentiment is from the Back in the Saddle set (one of the sets that was highlighted yesterday).

All of these new sets will be available March 1st following the DT Blog Waltz!

Back in the Saddle...

Good morning!  Today is such an exciting day!!  It's the first day of sneak peeks for the upcoming Waltzingmouse Stamps release!  Trust me, you will need to hold on to your seats because this release is SOOOO rockin'!!  I can't wait until you see all the new stamps!  You are in for such a treat!!  :-)

Today, the DT is highlighting two soon to be released sets called Way Out West and Back in the Saddle.  One word for you!  LOVE!!  Yes, the fact that we live on a ranch sort of predisposes me to adore western sets...but let me tell you, these are TOP NOTCH!!  Have I mentioned that I love them??  :-)

I used both Way out West (two background images) and Back in the Saddle (focal sentiment) for my card.  Just wait until you see these sets!!!  Eeeek!!  :-)  So, I was going for a bit of a masculine card, but try as I might I could NOT stay away from my ribbon stash!  LOL!  At least it's twill!  Teehehee!

For my card, I used the soon to be released Friendly Flowers set - a set that boasts a mix of happy and fun flowers and sentiments!  I used three of the flowers from the set and am loving how they mix and match so well!  I started by stamping a couple of the flower on a piece of wood cardstock.  I then layered cut out and layered the larger flower over the sentiment tags I created.  I then tied it all up with a pretty bow!  :-)
