For my project today, I used the soon to be released My Guy set! With four kids in our house, there always seems to be a shortage of fridge magnets. I mean, fridge space is like prime real estate in our household! :-)
I started with some clear, flat backed pebbles that I picked up at a craft store. I traced around them onto some patterned paper and then cut them out (they are not perfect circles). I stamped and paper pieced the pennant, football, and all star images using permanent ink (this is important). To adhere the paper to the pebble, I coated it with some Diamond Glaze. If you use water based ink, it will run during this step. Trust me, I learned the hard way. :-) After the magnets were dry (I let them sit for about 8 hours), I glued on some magnet strips.

Good morning! I'm back from my girl's getaway with Tosha and Julee! To say that I had a good time would be a HUGE understatement! Those girls are so much fun to be with and Missoula has some great little shops! I'll share some photos tomorrow, but in the mean time I have a card to share with you!
This card was already shared in the Paper Smooches newsletter, but I thought I would share it here as well. :-) I used some chipboard accents along with the Chit Chat stamp set to create this bright and fun teacher card.

Good morning! I'm excited to be able to share with you what I've been up to in my craft room lately! :-)
My first card features items from the new Vintage Blue collection. The soft and dreamy focal image is a Vintage Blue Whatnot. I offset and layered that onto a heart Cardstock Sticker. In the top left corner, I embossed the birds (from the Vintage Blue Clear Stamps set) and on the bottom patterned paper layer I stamped the lace trim and postal markings (also from the Vintage Blue Clear Stamp set). I finished it off with an Epoxy Word.
To create this soft and girly card, I reached for the Beautiful Dreamer collection! Oh how these pretty papers and embellishments make my heart go pitter-patter! I layered the focal image (a Whatnot from the Beautiful Dreamer collection) onto a circular Peek-a-Boo. For the tag, I stamped the sentiment onto a Beautiful Dreamer Cardstock Sticker.

Good morning! I thought I would pop in here and share a Paper Smooches card before I head out of town. I get to sneak off to Missoula to meet up with Julee and Tosh for what has become our annual girl's get-together! Several days of just shopping, eating, and just being together! I can't wait!
I used the My Peeps set to create my card. I stacked the penguin because, well...the more the merrier, right? :-) I kept the layout super simple because of the bold colors I chose.
Well, I had better jet! I'm supposed to be leaving in a half an hour! :-)
