Happy Friday! Have you seen the Verve April Diva Dare yet? Not only is there oodles of inspiration to be seen, but an opportunity for you to win FREE Verve! You can read all about it over at the Verve Blog! The Dare this month is to use chipboard, corrugated cardboard, or kraft on your creation or project! Yay! I LOVE these items! :-)
For my card, I used both chipboard and kraft cardstock! I couldn't help myself really...I love both of these items and use them frequently! :-) It's been a while since I've created a pocket card, so that's what I did! I covered the front of my pocket with paper pieced flowers from the Joyful Blooms set (cut out with the Joyful Blooms Die Set).
For the tag insert, I used the Vintage Oval Frame stamp (Cut out with the Vintage Oval Die) to frame the sentiment (also from the Joyful Blooms set). The sentiment is cut out using one of the dies from the Charming Oval Die Set.

I used four images (and one of the sentiments) from the new Hubby and Wifey set on my card! This is such a great set for weddings and anniversaries...and this is definitely the season for those! I actually have four weddings to create cards for within the next few weeks!
I kept the design and color scheme of my card fairly simple so that I could mass produce them. I thought it would be easy to change up the color accent (I chose pink for this card) to match each of the weddings that are coming up.

Happy Thursday! Or as I like to say, happy almost Friday! Teehehee! This is my last week as the Guest Muse over at the CASE Study blog. I can't believe how fast April went... I feel so honored to have taken part in the challenges this month! A HUGE thank you to Iwona and all the designers! :-)
The card that was chosen for us to CASE this week is one that I created back in October of last year...
I took a more liberal approach to CASEing this card... I kept the kraft card base but instead of the embossed background, I cut out a lattice design on my Silhouette. I changed the pastel colors to more bold ones but kept the butterfly and the "notebook" paper.
The sentiment is from the Be Okay Plain Jane from Verve Stamps. The cute label shape is also from Verve...it's the Curvy Bookplate Die. The lattice background, flowers, butterfly, and fun vellum notebook shape were all created on my Cameo. I am really loving my new machine! I think I was cartridge challenged...and am finding it much easier to navigate the software that came with my Silhouette. :-) As much as I love my new toy...I will always be a die fan! I will never give up my dies! :-)

Here's the card I created for the challenge...
EEEK! I had SOOO much fun making this little card! I started with the Card Kit Flower Pot template from the Silhouette Store. The flower pot base is stamped with the chevron pattern from the Geo-Graphic stamp set (by Paper Smooches) and the flowers are stamped with the polka dots (also form the Geo-Graphic set). The Hello and Friend sentiments are from the Chit Chat set (also by Paper Smooches).
Here's a photo with of the insert pulled out. Isn't this fun?? I think I will be making more of these! :-)
