Welcome to our Anni-VERVE-sary Spotlight Hops! As many of you know, Verve is celebrating its 5th anniversary this month and the party is just getting started! For my card today, I used the new Learning to Sail set combined with the Pennant Trim Die! I wanted to keep my card soft but also wanted to add a little something extra to it...so I decided to trim all of the edges in glitter. I mean, when all else fails, get out the glitter...right? :-) I've mentioned before how much I love all the new banners Julee has added to the sentiments. On top of that, look at the little flower petal things on the top left...LOVE it! :-) I decided to color them in using my Coipic markers...just so they stood out a little more. Fore decoration, I added another Canvas Resist shape from Prima and some polka dot tulle (along with my standard buttons and ribbon of course :-).
