Today, the design team is sharing projects created with the new Merry & Bright set!  This set is loaded with fabulous Verve fonts and some gorgeous snowflakes!  I used the medium sized snowflake to stamp on my background layer.  I stamped the sentiment, cut it out using an Oval Nestabilties die, and mounted it on an ornament (that I cut out using my Silhouette).

Waltzingmouse New Release Previews Day 2...

 Good morning!  It's day two of the Waltzingmouse new release previews!  For the next several days, the design team will be sharing projects made with the 8 brand new sets!  All sets will release this Friday, November 2nd!

 Today, the design team is sharing projects made with Vintage Christmas Backgrounder and Compliments of the Season 2!

 For my first card, I decided to create a shaped card.  I cut out the tree card base using my Silhouette.  I then embossed the Vintage Christmas Backgrounder on the card front using clear embossing powder.  I cut and colored several poinsettias (from the Big Blooms - Poinsettias set).  I layered them over some gold cording.  For the tag, I stamped the Noël sentiment (from the new Compliments of the Season 2 set).  To finish the card, I added some rhinestones randomly all over the front! 

For my next card, I went with a completely different look!  I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment (from the Compliments of the Season 2 set) and layered it over a stamped ornament (from the Vintage Ornaments set and cut out with the coordinating Heirloom Ornaments dies).  For embellishment, I added some stained wooden snowflakes, rhinestones, and a strip of glitter paper.

WMS Holiday Howdy...

Hi there!  I couldn't sleep last night...my eyes were glued to the news watching the storm unfold on the east coast.  My heart is so heavy for those dealing with the horrendous effects of this hurricane!  This Country we live in is large...yet the paper crafting community makes it feel so much smaller.  My family is praying for all of you effected by this storm.  Please stay safe!!

I'm back with my card for the first day of the Waltzingmouse Stamps New Release Preview!

I used both the Yonder Star set and Yonder Star Backgrounder on my card.  I have to tell you, this is probably my favorite set from this release!  And that's not an easy thing to say, because this release is amazing!  Truly!  This set is perfect for our family (we live on a cattle ranch in Montana), and I can't wait to send our Christmas cards out using it!  Our family and friends in Europe have a definite fascination with the West...I mean, who wouldn't!

I stamped the Yonder Star Backgrounder using some Soft Leaf ink (Hero Arts).  I just love the homespun quilt look it has!  For the focal image, I stamped one of the large quilted stars in red ink and then layered the sentiment on top.

You definitely won't want to miss seeing what the other ladies have created!!

Wicked Cool Money Holder...

I have a fun money holder card to share with you today!  Who doesn't love to get money, right?  :-)

I used the soon to be released Freezy Fellas from Paper Smooches!  I LOVE this snowman!  His outstretched arms and sideways grin just melts my heart!

Here's a peek at the inside.  I added a sweet little heart (also included in the Freezy Fellas set) and a magnetic closure.

Today, we are spotlighting the new Peace on Earth set!  I chose a very traditional color palette.  I started with a stamped notebook paper (using the Notebook Paper Plain Jane and Rounded Rectangle Die).  I then stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment (from the new Peace on Earth set).  I added some holly leaves (cut out with my Silhouette), buttons, trim, chunky glitter, and some seam binding ribbon for embellishments.
