Good morning! I'm so excited to be a part of this very special blog hop! If you are hopping along with us, you should have arrived here from Jennifer Edwardson's blog.
Vera Yates has organized the 3rd annual Caring Hearts Card Drive...and it is SUCH a great cause!
As a stamper, I love to make cards! For me, sending a card is a way to express how much I care about my friends and family...especially at Christmas time! For the elderly who live in nursing homes, Christmas can be a very lonely time. Imagine what a difference receiving a lovingly handmade card could make in the lives of those who either have no family or cannot be with them for the Holidays!
Make sure to read Vera's post on how you can not only make a difference in the lives of others this Christmas...but also be entered to win some FABULOUS prizes!!
Speaking of prizes, the following companies have generously offered prizes for this blog hop: Bella Blvd, Hero Arts. Lawn Fawn, Avocado Arts, May Arts, Two Peas In A Bucket and Jennifer McGuire offer 2 online classes! To be entered, just leave comments on all the participating blogs! So easy! :-) Just make sure you leave your comments before Monday (11/5) at midnight CST. You can find a complete list of participants HERE.
Here's the card I created for the Card Drive...
For my card, I used several different Bella BLVD collections (Christmas Wishes, Sophisticates, & Button Market). I kept the colors bright and cheery in the hopes it will bring a smile to the recipient's face! :-)
Next up on the hop is the talented Kathy Martin!
Thanks so much for joining me here today! ~Laurie
