Bella BLVD Kiss Me...

Good morning!  I'm a day late sharing my Bella BLVD "Cards on Thursday".  I thought I had it all scheduled before I left...sorry about that!  :-)

I just saw that the new Kiss Me Collection is now shipping!!  Make sure to watch for it in your favorite stores...it is SO gorgeous!!

Here are a couple of cards I created with this new collection...

I truly adore the colors in the new Kiss Me collection. Especially that pop of navy blue! I chose a couple of the patterned papers for the background and embellished it with part of a border (from the Alpha & Bits) and a pink flower button. For the focal image, I used one of the new Kiss Me Journaling Stickers.

Here's a close-up of one of the sentiments.  I just cut up one of the borders (from the Borders and Cute Cuts sheet).

I wanted a softer look for my card, so I chose the pink chevron paper (from the new Kiss Me collection) along with the Sprinkles & Lace - Ice (from the Sophisticates collection). For the focal images, I chose two heart chipboard pieces. For the finishing touches, I added several sentiment stickers as well as a Hot Pink Button.

In this close-up, you can see some of the sweet sentiment stickers I used (from the Alpha + Bits stickers).

Hello Gorgeous...

 Hello!  It's my turn to share some Glitz projects with you!  This month's theme is "Gratitude"! 

I am so grateful for my daughter!  As you know, we are in Seattle right now, and she will be soon undergoing two brain surgeries.  I admire her strength and perseverance so much...so both of the cards I created are for her.

 My first card features all sorts of products from the new Cashmere Dame collection!  Isn't that typewriter Glitzer the best?  So fun!

For my second card, I chose soft and girly papers from the new Hello Friend collection.  For the focal image, I chose one of the Hello Friend Title Stickers.

You Rock...

Hi friends!  As you read this, my daughter and I will be on our way to Seattle.  She has her first appointment with the neurosurgeon tomorrow, and her first surgery in only 6 six days.  I've received emails asking if I will keep them updated on how she is doing.  The best way I know how to do that is via facebook.  So, I will try to post regularly during our stay at Seattle Children's.  Thanks again for your prayers and encouragement!!  (To go to my facebook page, just click on the "f" to the left under my picture.)

Now for something stampy...

Isn't that rocking horse the sweetest?  He (along with the sentiment) is from the new Knick Knacks set from Paper Smooches!

As soon as I saw this sweet rocking horse, I knew I wanted him to actually rock!  I remember making a penny slider card back in the day, and thought that would be a perfect technique for my card.  I googled Penny Slider card, clicked on this tutorial, and got started!  :-)

For my first project, I created a little box (stamped with the new Cabin Plaid Backgrounder) to hold some candy sticks.  I added a flower tag (found in my stash) and a little "Jes' Fer You" tag (from the new Candy Wagon set).  I just love the fun sentiments in this set...perfect for all sorts of occasions!  :-)

For my second project, I created a soft and girly card using several images from the new Candy Wagon set!  For the background, I stamped the Vintage Christmas Backgrounder in a light pink and then stitched on some vellum.  You all know how I love me some vellum!  :-)  I didn't add a specific sentiment to this card so that I could keep it in my "all occasion" file, but I suspect that I will use this as a birthday card!  :-)

Caring Hearts Card Drive Blog Hop...

As a stamper, I love to make cards!  For me, sending a card is a way to express how much I care about my friends and family...especially at Christmas time!  For the elderly who live in nursing homes, Christmas can be a very lonely time.  Imagine what a difference receiving a lovingly handmade card could make in the lives of those who either have no family or cannot be with them for the Holidays!

For my card, I used several different Bella BLVD collections (Christmas Wishes, Sophisticates, & Button Market).  I kept the colors bright and cheery in the hopes it will bring a smile to the recipient's face!  :-)
