For my first card, I used Becky's new Poster Board Sentiments set. I really thought this long sentiment would look great embossed in white on black cardstock...almost like a subway art sign! :-) I definitely wanted the sentiment to be the focal image for my card so I popped it up and then added a few embellishments around it.
For my second card, I used Theresa's new The Northwoods set! Living in Montana and having four guys in my house (my husband and three sons), I can already tell that this set will be a favorite! I embossed the tree in black and then used my distress inks to sponge a sunset scene. For a little something extra, I sprayed on some Ink Potion No. 9 (an ink blending solution), which created the dots you see.
