Just Give Me Stamps...

Awesome...

Hi friends!  Haying is winding down (phew!) so I am slowly getting back into my routine!  Yay!  Unfortunately, it's been a very dry year for us so the hay crop is about half of what it normally is.  Hopefully, it will be a mild winter and we won't need as much hay.

I've had this card sitting on my stamp desk for the longest time...just waiting to be photographed and shared! 

 

I created this masculine card to keep in my stash.  My oldest son is starting high school as a freshman (yikes!!) and will be playing football.  I'm sure I will have many opportunities to give a this card!  :-)  I also thought it would be a good idea to build up my card stash before our little bundle arrives in a couple of months!

I started with some Carta Bella paper (Giddy Up!) and added in some stamped elements from the Whole Lotta Dots and Arrows 'n Elements sets from Reverse Confetti!  LOVE, love these sets!!

For my card, I used the new Fascinators set!  Aside from having THE cutest name ever, this is one of my all time favorite Paper Smooches sets!!  It is filled to the brim with all sorts of fun speech bubbles, banners, tags, borders, and lots of other fun elements!  I can tell this will be one of my go-to sets!!  I stamped four of the design images behind the stacked aliens layer.  The speech bubble, oval shadow (under the aliens), and little turquoise tag are also from the Fascinators set!

The sweet aliens are from the Space Cadet set and the sentiment is from the Slang Gang set.

Have a Super Day...

Hi there!  Today I've got two cards to share with you!  That's right...two for the price of one!  Teeheee!

 

My first card features the super pretty Calico set (from Paper Smooches)!  I stamped several of the flowers on a tag (die cut from the Scallop Tag die) to mimic the patterned paper.  The sentiment is one from the new Kinfolk set.  :-)

 

My next card is a complete opposite from my first one.  :-)  I can't create a card for my sweet daughter and leave out my boys can I?  I started by embossing some of the silhouette images from the new Super set on the gray background.  I framed the sentiment using the new Bam Bubble dies.  OMGosh, I LOVE this set and dies...and so do my boys!  This card was a big hit!  Yay!

Good Times & Ice Cream...

Good morning!  It's haying time again, which means that I am spending quite a bit of time in a tractor!  Thankfully (although my husband doesn't see it this way LOL!), there are breaks when it either rains or equipment needs to be fixed!  During my "break" yesterday, I got a few minutes to whip up this card...

 

For my card, I used several images and sentiments from the Celebrate Cake set as well as one of the arrows from the Arrows 'n Elements set!  In keeping with the fun birthday theme, I embellished with lots of glitter and stars!
