Today, the design team is sharing projects created with the new Christmas Joy and Beyond Baskets 2 sets!
Like I mentioned yesterday, this year all of my Christmas cards are going to be on the CAS side! With a new baby to take care of, my time will be very limited. One thing that I have learned though, is that CAS does not mean boring! It's stunning images like the ones in the new Christmas Joy set (illustrated by Rupa Shevde) that really stand out when paired with a clean design!
I made a pair of small cards (4" square) with minimal embellishments...perfect for giving with a home baked treat! I embossed the dove and sentiment using gold detail embossing powder onto Pure Luxury White cardstock.
I created another set of small cards using the same Christmas Joy set! This time I chose the wreath image and a different sentiment. I used all Fresh Asparagus Pure Luxury cardstock. I did rub the edges of one layer with some gold ink.
For my next card, I used the new Beyond Baskets 2 set (illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger). I combined the gift bag image, little tag, and two sentiments with some festive chipboard pieces that I already had in my stash. For embellishments I added a Red Hot Double Stitched bow!
