Verve September Spotlight Hop - Day 1...

Today we're sharing projects made with the new Each Day set and Psalm 94:18 Plain Jane!

For my first card, I combined the butterfly with one of the sentiments from the new Each Day set. I just love how encouraging and uplifting this set is! I framed the sentiment using the previously released Charming Banner Die. Oooh, see those sequins? They are new from Verve as well! I chose to use just the white ones from the new Pastel Spring Mix.

For my second card, I went all rustic and simple! A while ago I saw THIS card that the talented Amy Wanford created and fell in love with it! The design is so perfect for any occasion! I used another sentiment from the new Each Day set (along with the super cute little heart) and the Jotted Heart die to cut out the felt heart.

World Gratitude Day Blog Hop...

Fall is finally upon us and REVERSE CONFETTI is celebrating the change of seasons along with a little known holiday. Did you know that today is World Gratitude Day? World Gratitude Day is your opportunity to show your gratitude and appreciation for anything or anyone in your life with meaningful actions. To get you in the spirit of gratitude, the CONFETTI CREW has put together some fabulous creations with a “fall-ish flair” and a special “Gratitude Blog Hop”.

I was so taken with the colors and textures of this photo! I knew that I wanted this to be my inspiration for my card the moment I saw this! That little bit of vintage violet color added in there is just delicious, don't you think? :-)

I started by stamping a polka dot background (I used the bold polka dots from Whole Lotta Dots) onto kraft cardstock in gold ink and then layered on some stamped images from the Forever Fall set as well as some die cut leaves. The woodgrain heart and polka dotted acorn make my Fall loving heart smile! Love them!

In this close up photo you can see the gold touches a little bit better. You can also see the woodgrain sequins I used.

Waltzingmouse September New Release Hop...

It's release day over at Waltzingmouse Stamps! All eight brand new sets are now available! :-) We're celebrating with a blog hop featuring more projects made with the new sets! For my card, I used the brand new Putting on the Ritz set. I kept my design clean and simple but wanted to incorporate a modern feel. The sentiment is embossed using silver embossing powder (it really is more sparkly in real life).

Waltzingmouse September Previews Day 3...

Good morning! It's day three of the Waltzingmouse September release previews! Tomorrow all eight brand new Waltzingmouse sets will be released! From Halloween to Christmas (with some fab Art Deco thrown in for fun), this release will have something for everyone!

Today, the design team is sharing projects made with the new Spooky Tree and Vintage Witch sets.

For my card, I combined both of the new Spooky Tree and Vintage Witch sets. For the background, I stamped the Spooky Tree image using a dark gray ink. The moon (from the Vintage Witch set) is stamped using silver ink (it looks a little more sparkly in person). The pumpkin and sentiment are also from the Vintage Witch set.

Waltzingmouse September Previews Day 2...

Good morning! It's day two of the Waltzingmouse September release previews! In just a few short days (this coming Thursday to be exact), eight brand new Waltzingmouse sets will be released! From Halloween to Christmas (with some fab Art Deco thrown in for fun) this release will have something for everyone!

Today, the design team is sharing projects made with the following new sets: All Hallows Eve, Splat That, & The Count.

My first card features the new Splat That set! Although it was intended to be a Halloween set, I just kept seeing the possibilities of using it for watercolor smudges! I stamped the longest image five times using some fall colors. The sentiment is from the Big Day Today set.

My next card features the new All Hallows Eve set. Claire has such a way with Vintage images...so detailed and exquisite! I chose the raven to be my focal image and one of the included sentiments to accompany it.
