Today the design team is sharing projects made with the new Geared Up set!
For my card, I used two of the bold gears as well as the "turning" sentiment and number 8 stamp (all from the new Geared Up set)! I happen to have a boy that will be celebrating his 8th birthday next month and I was beyond thrilled to see this set! I absolutely LOVE the numbers that are included in this set (0-9) and can definitely see myself using them over and over again!
Because I was creating this for my soon to be 8 year old son, I chose a style and colors that I knew he would like. I started with a dark gray background and stamped the gears using dark gray and silver ink. I used a punch to punch out a circle and then I embossed the number 8 using some neon green embossing powder (a color my little guy has been drawn to lately :-)
