Good morning! Happy Halloween, friends! We aren't huge into Halloween, but my boys enjoy dressing up...and the candy! LOL! Wait, I think my hubby might enjoy the candy the most! LOL!
Sorry for the lack of posts...I've been busy taking care of our new little punkin'! I've been taking lots of pictures but I find that I don't have a lot of time for editing them! LOL! So, I will share a few that I have taken with my phone over the last couple of weeks. If you follow me on facebook or Instagram then you probably have already seen some of these. :-)
Here is my youngest (well, now second youngest LOL) holding Lucas in the hospital. He was a very big boy - 9 lbs 11 oz and 21" long at birth!
Here he is at home - just a few days old. Eeep! Look at those sweet cheeks! :-)
And here he is, giving us a smile (I know...it's just a bubble...but still so cute)! One week old already!
And here he is being held and loved by big sister at 2 weeks old!
Lucas is 3 weeks old in this photo. Such a cute (and serious) little punkin'!
At 3 1/2 weeks, he is rocking his Halloween shirt! Oh yeah...that is a 6 month sized shirt! Yep, Luke has grown almost 3" since birth!
Overall, Luke is such a good baby! He rarely cries and loves to be held and interact with his family! He does love to eat, and often...which means very little sleep for me. I am trying to just enjoy this time right now, and not worry about my messy house. I know from experience, that this stage is short lived and I will really miss this precious time with him later! :-)
Now, how about something crafty? Here are the latest projects that I made using Bella BLVD's new Trick or Treat collection...
I have been wanting to cover some mini candy bars with the Trick or
Treat
collection for a while now. I think the fun patterns are the perfect
decoration
for them! Because I didn't want to cover up too much of the papers, I
kept
the embellishments simple. I added some High Five Alphabet stickers to
the bucket, embellished with a couple of buttons, and then
tied on a ready made tag (from the new Trick or Treat Paper
Pieces)! This
was such a quick and fun project and I can't wait to give it to my son's
teacher!
Supplies:
Trick or Treat: Daily Details, All Webbed Up, Pick A Punkin, No Brainer,
Spookytown, Borders, Paper Pieces, Captions, Tabs, Alpha+Bits; Crochet
Hearts: Gulf; Button Market: Orange Stars; High Five Alphabet Stickers:
Gulf
Sometimes I like to create something that is not full of sugar for Halloween,
and this altered notebook featuring the new Trick or Treat Collection will be
the perfect gift for my son's teacher! I used a combination of patterned
papers, Paper Pieces, Alpha+Bits stickers to decorate the handmade cover for this notebook. I even decorated the inside
using some of the same elements as on the front!
Supplies:
Trick or Treat: Pick A Punkin', Spookytown, All Webbed Up, Alpha+Bits, Paper
Pieces, Captions; Crochet Hearts: Saltwater; Button Market: Zebra
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs, Laurie
