I used the brand new Paws For A Cause set to create a little treat bag filled with mini Milk Bones!  As a dog loving family (we have 3 dogs)' I was instantly smitten with this new set!  We are also strong supporters of our local Humane Society.  Wouldn't it be fun to create little cards or treats for people who adopt a pet?  So many possibilities! :-)

Waltzingmouse November Release...

Good morning!  Today, I am hopping along with the Waltzingmouse Design Team.  We are sharing projects made with the brand new Alpine Christmas set and Dies!  Yes, you read that right!  Waltzingmouse now has coordinating Cutting Edge Dies!!

 

I have to tell you how much I L.O.V.E. this set!  I know I've mentioned this here before, but my husband is from Switzerland.  All of his family still lives there.  When I first saw this set, I knew this would be the set that I will use for the cards that we send over seas!

For my first card, I created an easy to mail card.  I started by stamping the mountains, village, and sentiment.  (Note:  I masked the cute little tree that sits on top of the sentiment as I didn't want it to stamp over the mountains image.)  I then used the Alpine Christmas dies to quickly cut around the mountains.  I adhered it to a background piece that I dry embossed.  I then popped it up and mounted in on the card base.  For embellishment, I tied on some hemp cord and added a little glitter.

For my second card, I was going for a more neutral/rustic feel.  I covered a piece of kraft cardstock with some natural muslin material (I stamped the large and medium snowflakes on it first).  I then layered on the chalet (after I used the Alpine Christmas Dies to cut it out), sentiment tag, and a felt heart.  All of the images and sentiment are from the new Alpine Christmas stamp set.

Have I mentioned yet how much I love this set?  :-)  I can't wait to send these to my husband's relatives and friends!

November Reverse Confetti Color Challenge...

Hi friends!  Today I'm playing along with the brand new Reverse Confetti Color Challenge!  Every month on the 16th, there will be a new Color Challenge graphic posted over at the Reverse Confetti Blog!

The link list will be open from the 16th until noon CST on the 29th.  The color challenge will be posted in the sideabar and you will be able to click on it to get to that month's challenge post with the link list during this time.  Just like the Sketch For You To Try, we are allowing "anything goes" until the end of the year.  Note, that we will be adding the Reverse Confetti stamps only in January.

There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate tot he Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of "Fetti Fave!  The winner of the Color Challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti Blog on the 30th of each month.  You may enter as many times as you wish!

 

What a fun challenge Jen has come up with!  These colors are definitely very trendy right now, not to mention being perfect for Fall!  :-)

 
For my card, I used the Forever Fall set to create a Fall colored thank you card.  I did add in some kraft and white (both neutrals).  For embellishment, I added some silver and gold sequins.

A Moxie Fab Thanks Blog Hop...

 

Good morning!  Today I am participating with a lot of other talented paper crafters in a special blog hop honoring Cath...who will always be Moxie Fab!  This is a HUGE hop as so many wanted to be a part of thanking Cath!  You should have arrived here from Maria Fischer's Blog. 

Although I have never met Cath in person, I feel like I've known her for ages!  She has such a gift for writing...making you feel like you are old friends!  I will always be grateful for all of the inspiration and encouragement that she brought to me, week in and week out!  Many mornings I would sit down with my cup of coffee and read her Moxie Fab posts!

Thank you, Cath, for all of the fantastic eye candy, inspiration, and most importantly encouragement that you have given to the paper crafting community!

My card was inspired by my morning coffee/blog reading ritual!  I loved reading the Moxie Fab Blog while drinking my morning coffee!  I thought the new Be a Barista from Reverse Confetti would be perfect for Cath's card!
