Good morning! Ok...I just have to share. Lucas slept 6 hours straight last night (which means that I got the most sleep that I have gotten in 3 months (because that last month of pregnancy was not very fun LOL))!! Yep, I feel like a new woman!! Normally his "long" stretch is 3 hours. I can't complain too much because he will just wake to eat and then go right back to sleep. But a little bit more sleep at one time feels like such a luxury! :-) Ok, now back to my regularly scheduled programming...
I have quite a few gift containers to share with you today! All of them feature Bella BLVD yummy winter and Christmas collections!
First up is an ornament shaped gift card holder. Using my Silhouette Cameo, I created the ornament shape and then decorated it using Bella's Christmas Countdown collection.
The heart I added to the front actually helps to hold the flap closed. :-) For the pocket, I just glued down some patterned paper (only on the sides).
My second project is another gift card holder. I have to say, I give more gift cards away to those outside my family than anything else. They really are perfect...easy to mail and customizable to the recipient!
This time, I created a stocking shaped gift card holder. I didn't have a punched out heart (like I did on the ornament) to keep the flap closed so I used a magnetic closure. This stocking also features the new Christmas Countdown collection.
For my next project, I decorated a large tin. We also give away homemade goodies (like cookies, fudge, & candy) and I like to decoarate various tins (I collect them throughout the year) to package them in.
After covering the tin with some Christmas Countdown paper, I added one of the coordinating Paper Pieces, stitched felt leaves, Bella Buttons, and two Crochet Hearts
My final projects is a decorated bakery style bag...perfect for holding a set of handmade cards! I started with a strip of patterned paper and then added coordinating stickers (all from the Winter Wonder collection) to create a quick and easy package!
Oh, and just for fun...I added some glitter to that sweet snowman! :-)

Have a great day! Hugs, Laurie
