For my card, I used the new Mini Monograms set!  I can never get enough of Kim's fonts, and I especially love this smaller sized alphabet!  I embossed the letters onto die cut balloons (I may or may not have used a new Paper Smooches die set ((wink))...so stay tuned to the Paper Smooches Blog for more info on that)!

Just a Note...

Hi there!  Can you believe it?  I'm here two days in a row!  :-) 

This card of mine is being shared over at the Paper Smooches Blog today and I thought that I would share it here as well! 

 

I used the Just a Note set to create this card!  I really, really love this set!  It has so many fun images and sentiments...very trendy as well!

Birthday Poppies...

Happy Monday, friends!  We had a relaxing and laid back weekend.  Lucas has fiiiiinally decided to sleep a little!  Aaahhhh!  :-)  I really can't complain (too awful much) as even when he doesn't sleep, he is just the happiest guy around!  Me, on the other hand...not so happy.  LOL!  On top of getting a little bit of sleep, I was able to spend a little time in my stamp room!  It doesn't get much better than that!

My Poppy Birthday set (from Verve) has been sitting un inked entirely too long!  This truly is my favorite Verve flower set (and that's really saying something)!  Because I didn't know how long Lucas would sleep, I decided to keep my card more on the simple side.

I wanted the flowers to really pop, so I chose a dark gray background.  I cut the poppy shapes out using the Build a Poppy Die set (also from Verve) and then stamped the coordinating stamp images on them.  I noticed that the Poppy Birthday set is temporarily out of stock, but the website said there should be more coming early February.  Yay!  The sentiment is stamped on white cardstock (die cut using the Sweet Scallop Die) and popped up a little for added dimension.

Sharing some Paper Smooches Projects...

Hi friends!  Any big plans this weekend?  Lucas is in middle of a growth spurt, so I am feeding him every 30 seconds (LOL!)...so no going anywhere for me!  The boys were skiing all day yesterday so I think they will appreciate having a relaxing day as well.

I thought I would share some Paper Smooches projects with you today.  They've been shared over at the Paper Smooches blog, but I thought that I would share them here as well.  :-)

My first card features stamps from the Captured Moments set.  I used one of my favorite photo of Lucas, and turned this into a photo card.  I love this photo because it captured his everyday smile!  I just love how he smiles with his whole face like that!  He truly is the happiest, giggliest baby ever!  :-)

 

My second project is a fun little pillow box (that I cut out using my Silhouette Cameo) that features the new Pinked Circles dies.  I also used:  Streamers stamp set, Streamers Dies, Sentiment Sampler, & Borderlicious stamp set.

 

My last card features the new Kissables 2 set (I stamped them onto cardstock and then punched circles out to achieve the textured look) as well as the new Headliners set.

Bella Blvd's New Lucky Starz Collection...

Mmmm, mmmm!  That is how I describe this new collection!  Fabulous stars, trendy triangles, and delicious Bella colors = one amazing new collection!

Here are some cards that I created for the Bella Blvd CHA booth using this new collection...

 

For my card, I combined some of my favorite elements from this new collection!  The gorgeous colors and fun patterns make this one of my favorite Bella Collections to date!  I layered on a tag and heart (that I created using patterned paper) over an Oyster Feather.  I then added a Candid Card, sticker form the new Trinkets sheet, and some ribbon.

As soon as I saw all of the delicious star patterned papers, I knew I wanted to create a rainbow card!  I layered on five of the star patterned papers (cut into strips).  I added a new Candid Card for the focal image.

I absolutely love the bright, trendy colors included in this new collection!  I also love that there are some neutral colored papers included as well…they really make the other colors pop (like the black with white confetti)!  I added lots of coordinating papers and accessories to create this multi layered card, with a couple of the Candid Cards for the focal image.

I started with the trendy triangle pattern (Bell Pepper Starz sheet) for the background.  I layered some vellum over it so that the alpha stickers and embellishments would really stand out.  The rosette was created using a strip of the Surf N Turf Starz paper.  I just love these colors together!
