Just Give Me Stamps...

Some Bunny...

Good morning!  I thought I would pop in here and change up the scenery a bit!  :-)  I actually have several cards stamped, photographed, and ready to share with you but have been struggling to find time to blog about them.  Honestly though, it doesn't take very long so I thought I would share one while Lucas napped (a rare occasion lately LOL).

 

I used the new Bebe Bunny on my card today.  I stamped her, colored her in with Copics, and then added just a tiny bit of Stickles to the lace, bow, & purse.  "Everybunny" deserves a little sparkle, don't you think?  :-)  I love seasonal images...but I also love seasonal images that can be used year round, and that is why I love this set so much!  She is SO cute for Easter, but the little special accessories that come with her make her perfect for year round use!  Yay!  :-)

Gina K Shabby Spring StampTV Kit...

For my first card, I used one of the whimsical flower images for my focal image and did a little messy watercoloring.  For the background, I stamped one of the single flowers using Versamark ink (I wanted a subtle tone-on-tone look).  The sentiment is embossed using Black Detail embossing powder.

For my second card, I started with some of the yummy Shabby Spring patterned paper!  I stamped the leaf image directly on the patterned paper to create even more dimension and texture.  The flowers were stamped on some coordinating Shabby Spring patterned paper, cut out, and popped up.  I am totally smitten with the stitched oval frame included in this month's kit!

All of My Smiles...

 Good morning!  I'm up over at the Verve Blog today sharing my take on this month's Diva Dare challenge - "Do The Polka".  
 
What we're daring you to do this month is to use polka dots somewhere on your card. Whether you choose to strut your polka dot stamps, paper, ribbon or all of the above, we want to see you do the polka!

 

I am completely smitten with Verve's sentiments!  I love what they say, I love the mix of different fonts, & I love how balanced they look!  Verve makes some amazing images as well, but oh those fonts...they are a show stealer!  :-)  Because I wanted the sentiment to really shine (I used one from the new Better Together set), I embossed it on cardstock that I die cut using the Jotted Heart die.  For the polka dot part, I added some circles that I punched out and then did some simple stitching on them.  Kind of fun, but still subtle so the sentiment is still the focus.

Bit o' Bella Green...

Hi friends!  Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I've got a couple of green cards to share with you today!  The challenge over at the Bella Blog today was to create using this lovely color!  :-)

 

To create this card with lots of green, I started with a white base. I punched circles out of several different green Bella patterned papers and then stitched them together. For embellishment, I added some Crochet Hearts, a Bella Button, and some stickers.

When I first saw the "green" challenge for today, I immediately thought of this “Leaf Without You” Bella rubber stamp! I stamped it, colored it in with markers, added a little bit of glitter, and then layered it on two different patterned papers. I chose to add a neutral color to the green ... as well as a pop of red!

Reverse Confetti March Color Challenge...

 

Hi friends!  I'm hopping along with the Confetti Crew today!  There's a brand new color challenge over at the Reverse Confetti Blog and it's a fun one!

Here's the challenge...

 

Isn't it a fun one?  I love the fresh colors combined with the navy color...it's so unexpected and fabulous!

Here's what I came up with...

 

For my card, I used the new Class Act stamp set and coordinating Class Act Confetti Cuts dies!  I just love this set!  It seems like I am always in need of a card for one of my boys' teachers, so I thought I would get a jump start on some teacher thank you cards.  :-)  I left a lot of white space and just accented with the colors from the challenge.  I love how soft and springy it looks!  :-)

 

Here's a little info on the challenge...

 

• There will be a new Color Challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 16th of each month.

• The color link list will be open from the 16th until noon CST on the 27th (due to the shortened month). The color challenge will be posted in the sidebar and you will be able to click on it to get to that month’s challenge post with the link list during this time.

• Reverse Confetti stamps are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!

• You may enter as many times as you wish.

• There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of Color Challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 28th of this month.
