Verve July Spotlight Hop - Day 2...

Welcome to our July 2014 Spotlight Hops!  We're so excited to share some new Verve with you! Today, the design team is featuring the new Peaceful Medallions set (illustrated by Chaitali Narla).  This set is SO amazingly beautiful and detailed!  LOVE!!  From the moment I first saw it, I wanted to make this mini card set!  In fact, I will be making more as they will make great gifts!  Even though there are a few sentiments included in the set, I purposefully left these blank.  I embossed each card using a different color embossing powder (gold, copper, & black) and then used my circle punches to cut them out.  Such a big impact for so little time...you gotta love that!

Reverse Confetti July Release Hop...

 

We hope you all agree that this month’s release from REVERSE CONFETTI is hot, hot hot!  We changed things up a bit this month and brought you more dies than ever before, but still quenched your thirst for those fun Quirky Cuties with Rocky Raccoon and introduced what’s sure to be a new favorite, Fabulous Flamingo, just to name a couple of the new stamp sets (there are 4—along with 7 Confetti Cuts Die sets).  Today, we are making a final splash with all the new products, and bringing you our Reverse Confetti new release blog hop.  You’ll have it made in the shade once you see all the fun you can have with this release!

 

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Stacey’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

 

My first card features the Fabulous Flamingo set!  I also used the following Confetti Cuts:  Fabulous Flamingo, Tag Me Too, & Circles 'n Scallops.

 

I love this sentiment so much and couldn't wait to use it!

 

For my next card, I embossed one of the sentiments from the Rocky Raccoon set using silver embossing powder.  I then added several paisleys die cut from the Perfectly Paisley Confetti Cuts die set.

Countdown to Confetti - Fresh 'n Fruity & Fabulous Flamingo...

 

It's day three of Reverse Confetti's July release sneak peeks!  On July 8th all four brand new sets, along with six new Confetti Cuts will be released!

My first card features the new Fabulous Flamingo set.  Although this set has a matching die set (Fabulous Flamingo Confetti Cuts die set), I opted to emboss them directly onto my background layer.  The scalloped border is from the previously released Love Note Confetti Cuts.

You many have noticed that my birds are not very flamingo like!  I turned the beaks upside down and made them into swans!  SO fun!  :-)

 

I embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum and added a glitterfied wooden heart for embellishment.  :-)

 

My next card features the new Fresh 'n Fruity set (along with the coordinating Fresh 'n Fruity Confetti Cuts die set).  I created a frosty glass by cutting a piece of white cardstock, adding some yellow cardstock for the lemonade, and then layering a piece of vellum (topped with chunky glitter) on top.

Polka dot lemons and oranges??  Yes, please!!  :-)

My card features the new So Very Special stamp set!  It's part of the Key Words collection and it is full to the brim with lovely sentiments and even a few decorative accents!  To create my tag, I used four different sentiments.  I embossed them with white embossing powder onto a dark gray cardstock.  The tag die is from the new Tag me, Too Confetti Cuts die set!

Rocky Raccoon is the newest member of the Quirky Cuties line, and boy is he ever sweet!  Who can resist that face?  The fabulous circles were created using the new Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts dies (LOVE)!  I combined the Rocky Raccoon image and sentiment with some previously released goodies:  Beautiful Banners stamp set, Beautiful Banners Confetti Cuts, Office Edges Confetti Cuts, & Love Note Confetti Cuts.
