Who wouldn't love to get a cupcake this cute for their birthday?  :-)  I do love me a cupcake to three!  Hee!  I combined the new set Small Packages with the coordinating Cupcake Frame die set to create this no calorie card!  I also used some ribbon from Verve's Signature Ribbon Collection.

My daughter is a huge fan of tea, so when I saw the new One Cup set I just knew I had to make her something with it!  I like tea as well, but not like she does!  :-) 

I wanted to create a bookmark, so I thought that I would combine it with my card.  I stitched on some vellum to create a pocket to hold the bookmark.  I used the Jotted Heart die to cut out the felt heart, and added a flower, and a circle tag stamped with another of the sentiments.

Here's a peek at the bookmark.  I topped it off with some ribbon from the Stormy Skies ribbon collection.

My card features the new A Holy Holiday stamp set!  With so many fabulous sentiments, this is definitely going to be a go-to set for me this year!  And that reindeer...eeep!  I love him!  It's hard to tell in the photo, but the grayish paper is actually a brushed silver cardstock.  I embossed the reindeer and sentiment using silver embossing powder.  The snowflakes are embossed using a clear embossing powder with glitter.  They are super sparkly in real life!  :-)

These new frame sets from Verve are just gorgeous, aren't they?  I especially love the bluebells in this this one (Framed Florals set)!  For my card, I started by creating a watercolor wash for the background.  I wanted it to have a softer look, so I added a vellum layer over it.  For the focal image, I used some more watercolors to color in the bluebells.  I kept my embellishments to a minimum so as not to take away from the flowers.  :-)

Waltzingmouse August Release Hop...

It's release day over at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  The brand new dies and stamp set are now available!  :-) We're celebrating with a blog hop featuring more projects made with the new goodies!  If you are following along, you should have arrived here from Sandie's blog.  If you are just joining us, make sure to head on over to Claire's blog...she will get you started!

 

I used the new Hello, Happy, Thanks set to create my card.  I am completely smitten with this set!  I love the mix of the large and small fonts!  I kept my card simple, as I really wanted the sentiment to be the focal point.  I used some chipboard stickers and epoxy dots from my stash for embellishment.
