Waltzingmouse December Previews Day 2 - Vintage Postcards...

Welcome to the first day of the December Waltzingmouse Previews! New stamps will be released on December 2! Today the design team is sharing projects made with the new Vintage Postcards stamp set!

I am such a fan of creating all occasion type cards. They are so easy to customize as I need them by just stamping an appropriate sentiment on the inside! That is what I created here...a perfect all occasion card that can be used as a thank you card, birthday card, or just a thinking of you card. I used two of the tags from WMS Stitched Tags die set. I used a total of seven images from the new Vintage Postcards stamp set. Most of them I used on the background layer, directly on the patterned paper.

Waltzingmouse December Previews Day 1 - Old Country Roses...

Welcome to the first day of the December Waltzingmouse Previews! New stamps will be released on December 2! Today the design team is sharing projects made with the new Old Country Roses stamp set!

I will start off by saying that this is probably my most favorite Waltzingmouse stamp set ever! And that really is saying a lot! I love it SO very much! Vintage cabbage roses with all sorts of leaves....you just can't go wrong with that! I love how you can get so much detail and shading very easily! I really wanted these roses to be the star of the card, so I paired them with some black and white patterned paper so that they would really pop! I embossed the sentiment on the patterned paper using black detail embossing powder. And in the background, I stamped the largest flourish from the previously released Flourishes - Scallops and Dots stamp set.

For my card, I used the new and super cute Fancy Frames stamp set! I created a collage of frames using the two smaller frames from the set. The hello sentiment is also from the Fancy Frames set. For embellishment I added an epoxy heart, some twine, and a red flower. :-)

Love Comforts...

Hi friends! It's my turn to share what I came up with for this month's Diva Dare! You can find all of the details of the dare, as well as how to win some fabulous Verve prizes over at the Verve Blog! :-)

I used one of my favorite sentiments from the Stronger Love set! The Diva Dare is all about vellum this month, and you all know how I feel about vellum! L.O.V.E. it!! :-) I kept my card clean and simple and added just a few embellishments.

Well, I have a teething toddler not so patiently waiting for my undivided attention! :-)

For my card today, I used the brand new Psalm 119:105 Plain Jane stamp! I just love the Plain Jane stamps...such a big impact for a very small price tag! :-) I especially love this one as it is one of my most favorite verses!

I know that this stamp works perfectly with many of the stamp sets released today and is perfect for Christmas cards, but I wanted to use it in a generic way. I love having non holiday specific cards all ready to go in my stash!
