November Sketch For You to Try...

Hi friends!  I'm playing along with the brand new Sketch For You to Try!  You can find all the details on the sketch challenge (along with the fabulous prize you can win) over at the Reverse Confetti Blog!

 

 

Since I've been on a Christmas card kick lately, I thought that I would continue that trend for this sketch!  Sometimes, though, I get into my own little world while creating and get sidetracked.  I started out with a rectangle panel on top (like the sketch) but have no idea why I decided to go without it!  LOL! 

It's been a while since I've inked up the Tinsel 'N Trim set and I thought it would be perfect for my card.  I used two different images on the card, and two different images on the envelop below.  I also added in some die cut snowflakes (from the Let It Snow Confetti Cuts set).

 

To create the matching envelope, I used some of the same Bella Blvd patterned paper and the Reverse Confetti Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts die!

'Tis the Season...

Happy Monday friends!  It was another whirlwind weekend for us, with lots of things that needed to get done around the house.  We have been very fortunate to have had a very mild and warm (for Montana anyway) Autumn!  That is going to be changing this week, so we were racing to get all of the last minute outside chores finished.  I didn't get a chance to sneak over to my studio, but I do have a card finished that I haven't shared with you yet!  :-)

 

I was playing around with some of the new Reverse Confetti goodies the other day and came up with this card!  I started with the Mini Circle Garland Confetti Cuts die! I love crafty items that are festive enough for the Holidays but are also able to be used all year long!  For the focal images, I found these two cutouts in my stash and thought they would be perfect for my quick little card.  For the finishing touch, I added one of the sentiments from the new Seasonal Sentiments stamp set!

Reverse Confetti November Release Hop...

 

Well, the holidays are right around the corner and REVERSE CONFETTI has just released a collection of new products that will help get you in a festive mood and give you a jumpstart on your holiday crafting!

My first card features the super cute new Marley Moose stamp set!  He's part of the Quirky Cuties line and is most definitely a cutie!  I colored him with Copics and then framed him in a circle.

My next project is a trio of simple monochromatic cards.  I love simple cards for Christmas...mostly because I can mass produce them easily.  I used several of the new dies as well as a couple of the new stamp sets.

For this card, I chose a gray base.  I draped five of the circle garlands (cut out from the Circle Garland Confetti Cuts die) across the background.  For the focal image, I embossed one of the sentiments from the North Pole Wishes stamp set and added the holly die cuts (cut from the North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts) for a pop of color.

 

My second card features the new Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts die along with the North Pole Wishes stamp set and coordinating North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts die set.

 

My final card is a very similar design to the gray one.  More Circle Garland die cuts, and a focal image featuring the North Pole Wishes stamp set and North Pole Confetti Cuts dies.

Countdown to Confetti - Donut You Know...

Today, the Confetti Team is sharing projects made with the new Donut You Know stamp set!  Talk about a caaauuuute set!!  Eeeep!  There are so many fun sentiments to go along with the new Donut You Know Confetti Cuts die set!

For my card, I used the oblong sprinkles die (there are a choice of three different kinds of sprinkles) to top my donut.  I also covered the frosting layer with a clear glaze so that it would resemble shiny chocolate frosting.  Because I mail a lot of my birthday cards late (((blush))), I chose this super cute sentiment!  Love it!
