My card features the new Ahoy Me Hearty stamp set. Talk about caaauuuute! Kim has done it again, totally made me smile with the witty sentiments and super cute images!

I wanted to create a background that looked like an old treasure map. I used four different images from the Ahoy Me Hearty stamp set on the background alone. I wanted the parrot to stand out so that is the only image I colored in. For embellishment, I added some mini wood stars, twine, and a library clip.

Congratulations...

Hi friends! I have a bright and fun card to share with you today! I have really been on a bold, bright kick lately! I think it's the dreary Montana weather...I need some color in my life! Hee!

I started with some patterned paper that has been sitting on my shelf for a while now. I just love the bike, and have always wanted to use this on a card but wasn't sure how to not cover it up but still customize it. Well, I brought out my Petals 'n Posies stamp set (as well as the coordinating Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts) and created a little floral arrangement for the top of my card. I covered the patterned paper with vellum so that the flowers would stand out a bit more. For the sentiment, I stamped and cut out the banner using the Beautiful Banners stamp set and coordinating Beautiful Banners Confetti Cuts.

Today the Design Team is sharing projects created with the new The Northwoods 2 set (Illustrated by Theresa Momber) as well as the new Birthday Essentials StampTV Kit!

For my first project, I created a notebook cover using Theresa's new The Northwoods 2 set! I love long and skinny notepads...they are perfect for all sorts of lists! In fact, I just used the last sheet of my other notepad writing out the kids' spelling lists and was in need of another one. I just folded a piece of cardstock around the notepad leaving an 1/8" overlap on all sides. I made sure to really glue down all of the accessories so that they would stand up to all the wear and tear.

My next two cards were created using the stamps sets from the new Birthday Essentials Stamp TV Kit! This first card features the new Birthday Blessings stamp set. I am in complete LOVE with this set! The beautiful bird, butterfly, flowers...mmmm, mmmm! And there are even matching dies included!! Yay!

My next card features the Happy Birthday To You stamp set! I wanted to create a fun and bright card, so I got out lots of my Gina K Designs ink pads and a circle punch! I am a sucker for rainbow colors! :-)

Today the Design Team is sharing projects created with the new Stately Flowers 9 set (Illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger) as well as the new Knit-Wit Diva set (illustrated by Debbie Corbari).

For my first card, I created a 4" square all-occasion card using the new Stately Flowers 9 set. I have always loved the detail Melanie adds to her sets and this one is no exception! To create the glossy looking vase, I embossed the vase onto some crackle patterned paper. (The embossing part is crucial as you won't want the ink to run.) I then covered the image with Diamond Glaze and let it dry (also a crucial step LOL).

My second card is also a smaller square card, 3 1/4" to be exact. I have really been on a square card kick lately! LOL! I giggled SO hard when I first saw Debbie's new Knit-Wit Diva set! I absolutely LOVE the sentiments she included! I know that I will find many occasions to use this particular one! Heeheee!
