A Monkey Hello...

 Hi again!  This is my second post for today, so if you are looking for my Paper Smooches blog hop card, please scroll down or click HERE!  :-)

 

I am still having a blast with the new Reverse Confetti release!  In fact, this sweet monkey image has been calling my name for several days so I gave in!  :-)

 

For my card, I stamped and die cut the monkey image (from the Monkey Business stamp set and Monkey Business Confetti Cuts) and three times, colored them, and then popped them up for extra dimension.  I purposely did not add a sentiment to the front.  I like to have some blank cards in my stash that I can add a sentiment to on the inside as the need arises.  For the finishing touch, I added some thick twine and looped it around them to make it appear they are hanging off of it.

For my card, I used the fabulous new Frame 4 die!  I love the Paper Smooches frame dies and am delighted by this new one as well!  It's absolutely brilliant how the one die cuts both the outer frame and inside in one pass!  The flowers are a little peek from the new Botanicals 3 set and the sentiment is from the previously released Word Up set.

Celebrate Your Day...

Hi again!  The end of the school year is so crazy busy around here!  Concerts, award ceremonies, track meets, school meetings...it really is a wonder that there is time to sleep!  LOL!   I thought, however, that I should pop in here and change up the scenery a little!  :-)

 

After seeing all of the magic Julee was creating using the Poppy Birthday set, I just had to get my set out and ink it up!  You can see Julee using this set three days in a row over at her blog (just scroll down a few posts).

Because I was limited on time, I created my version of a clean and simple card.  I combined the Poppy Birthday set with the Build a Poppy die set to save time.  I framed the sentiment using the Mini Bookplate die set.

 

Before I go, I thought I would share a picture of my little guy!  I was taking pictures of some cards and suddenly this cute face peeked over the counter!

Bella Blvd and Jillibean Soup Team Up!

 Hi friends!  Bella Blvd has teamed up with Jillibean Soup and all week long on the Bella Blvd blog you can see how designers are using the Happy Hues paint with some of Bella's newest collections!

Today, three of my cards are being featured on the Bella Blog!  I thought I would share them here with you as well.  :-)

When I first received the Jillibean Happy Hues paints I couldn't wait to try them out on some of Bella's new Invisibles collection! I did some "messy" painting on the back of the Click Click Invisibles paper using the following Happy Hues colors:  Precocious Pink, Gracious Gray, Ravishing Red, Amiable Aqua, Outrageous Orange, & Yummy Yellow. I then layered on some stickers and Ciao Chip pieces and embellished with a Punch star enamel doodad.

 Supplies:

To create the background on this card, I started by painting messy circles on the back of the Newsflash paper (from the Just Add Color collection). I used the following Jillibean Happy Hues colors: Amiable Aqua, Yummy Yellow, Precocious Pink, Ravishing Red, Outrageous Yellow, Groovy Green, & Witty White. For the focal image, I thinned the same colors of paint with some water and did some more messy painting. After the paint was dry, I die cut the butterfly out and then covered it in clear glitter. I added some stitching, Enamel Dots, and a couple of stickers to complete my card.

 I love how the Jillibean Soup Happy Hues colors go so well with many of the Bella Blvd colors and embellishments! For this card, I brushed on the following Happy Hues colors to create a rainbow background: Ravishing Red, Outrageous Orange, Yummy Yellow, Groovy Green, & Bashful Blue. I added some Ciao Chip pieces. I created the sentiment strip using some of the alpha stickers from the Just Add Color Treasures & Text sheet.

There is just something about the colors all in rainbow form that makes my heart skip a beat!  I do love me some rainbows!  :-)

Congratulations...

Good morning!  Today I have some fun news to share!  Waltzingmouse stamps are now available at Addicted To Rubber Stamps (it's a huge online crafting store)!  You can still purchase directly from Waltzingmouse, but now you have another buying option!  :-)

To celebrate this fun news, I created a card using some of my favorite Waltzingmouse goodies!

 

This is my version of a clean and simple card (I always manage to sneak in several layers)~  :-)  I used the Funky Flowers stamp set along with the Funky Flowers Cutting Edge die set.  The sentiment is from the Gift Card It stamp set.  All of these items are available from the Addicted To Rubber Stamps store as well as the Waltzingmouse store!
