Today we are featuring Theresa Momber's new set, The Wetlands!  For my first card, I started off with some brand new Peach Bellini Gina K cardstock!  I LOVE this color!  I embossed the gorgeous shilhouette bird and grass seen (from The Wetlands set) using white embossing powder.  I then sponged on a little Dusty Rose (also a new Gina K color!) around the image.  I added the sentiment on a little vellum tag I made and attached it under the flower.

 

For my second card, I used the other silhouette image from The Wetlands.  This time I used some acrylic paint and a canvas tag.  I started by watercoloring the background of the tag first.  When that was dry, I stamped the image.  For the sentiment, I stamped it on a wooden tag.

Today, we are showcasing the new Triple Play Fillers stamp set by Melanie Muenchinger!

 

My first card features both the Triple Play Fillers set and the previously released Triple Play Frame set!  Look how perfectly the polka dot fillers go with the frame!  There are so many ways to customize it!  Everything stamped in gray is from Melanie's new set!  For the finishing touch, I embossed one of the sentiments (also included in Melanie's new Triple Play Fillers set) along the bottom.

 

For my next card, I decided to use some of the border and single stamps to create a sweet birthday card!  The "cone" is stamped with one of those border stamps, as is the cherry.  The background was created by stamping one of the star images randomly in the background.  Speaking of the background, I used of the brand new Gina K Color Companion ink pads - Dusty Rose!  It's such a gorgeous shade of pink!!  The green from my card is also a new color - Jelly Bean Green!

Sparkle...

Good morning!  I had a little time the other day and sat down to play with some of the new Waltzingmouse stamps!  I am seriously smitten with the gorgeous fonts on many of the new sets!

 

I was definitely in the mood to play around a little bit, so I combined a bit of several different styles!  I started by laying downs some watercolor.  I then stamped a couple of the images from the previously released Vintage Postcard stamp set.  To add even more depth, I spritzed the background with some gold tinted spray.  I embossed the sentiment (from the new Your Sparkle stamp set), roughed up the edges, and then added some chunky clear glitter to the edges.  To embellish the card, I added some flowers and leaves from my stash and then sprinkled on a few gold sequins.

Bella Blvd, Craftwell, & Tombow Team Up...

 

Hi friends!  Bella Blvd has teamed up this week with Craftwell and Tombow!  Here are the cards that I made using some delicious Bella Blvd paper, Tombow markers, and the Craftwell eBrush system!

 

I think my favorite way to use the eBrush system so far, is to create backgrounds using stencils! Not only did it take me only minutes to create this colorful background, but I think the finished look is just gorgeous! I embellished the card using stickers and ciao chip chipboard pieces. I attached the embellishments using Tombow adhesive dots.

I have always loved Bella's crochet hearts, and often add them to many of my projects. After playing with the eBrush system for a while, I wanted to try using it to add some custom color to the crochet hearts that I love so much! I started by adding some Color Chaos patterned paper and vellum for the background. I chose one of the Just Write Journaling stickers for the focal image. I used three Tombow markers combined with the eBrush machine to custom color a white crochet heart.

I really love the different looks that I can achieve using the eBrush system. By focusing the color more, the effect is more of a solid color. By holding the pen out more, the effect is more splatter looking. I happen to absolutely love the splatter look and decided to use that look here on this card. I chose two Tombow markers to create a "sky" and "grass" look. I embellished the card with stickers from the Just Add Color collection.

To create the background on this card, I started with a piece of Passcode patterned paper (from the Star Student Collection). I sprayed on some color using the eBrush system along with a combination of Tombow and Spectrum Noir markers. I embellished with some coordinating Star Student stickers and ciao chip chipboard pieces. I attached them with Tombow ddhesive dots.

Kim has done it again!  This release is completely fabulous!!  For my card, I used the new Shindig Two stamp set.  I embossed the sentiment and cutlery using gold detail embossing powder.  I love the look of the gold embossing against the watercolor background.  :-)
