Three of my five kids will be headed back to school in the next few weeks. One is in high school, one in middle school, and the other is in elementary school. As I was gathering my lists up to try and finish my school shopping I thought how nice it would be if they were all in one place. It was definitely a light-bulb moment! Ha! My Moments Inked planner is the perfect place to store the lists and the custom dies make it easy to add them right into the binding!
I created three separate pages, one for each of my school aged boys using one of the Moments Inked: Basic Pages dies. I added a little notebook page to each one (I used the Spiral Notebook Page die and the Moments Inked: Listed stamp set) , creating a place to write down the things that I still need to purchase or appointments to make. These individual pages would also be a great place to add sticky notes, clip items to, or even add a photo to!
I staggered the three pages, as well as making them different colors so that I could easily differentiate them.
On the first two pages, I stamped the "Back to School" phrase on the top. I also added some books and an A+ on the bottom (from the Back to School stamp set).
On the upper right corner of all three pages, I added the grade that my boys will be going into (4, 6, & 11). The numbers are die cut using Smokey Shadow cardstock and Block Alphabet Numbers dies.
I decorated the page I created for my oldest son a little bit differently. I embossed one of the sentiments from the For the Graduate set on top of the page. I stamped the large World Map image in the background and added two of the Spiral Notebook Page die cuts.
On each of the pages, I customized them by adding the name of each of my boys. I wanted it to be subtle, so I used the same color of cardstock as the page for a tone-on-tone look. I used the Block Alphabet Upper die set for all three pages.
As much as I love my boys, I really felt myself needing something girly to add to my planner this week! Ha! So, instead of my solid color divider that I usually use, I created a bright and most definitely pink one! I die cut the divider using the Moments Inked: Tabbed Die and Hibiscus Burst cardstock. I stamped it using the Bloomers stamp set. The "week" sentiment is from the Moments Inked: Remembered stamp set.
