Good morning! Welcome to the October Reverse Confetti release hop! All of the new goodies that you have been seeing over the past few days are now available over at the Reverse Confetti store!
The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Sarah Gough's blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!
My first project is a little trio of tags that I created using the new Merry & Bright stamp set and coordinating Merry & Bright Confetti Cuts die! I love having a bunch of tags created and ready to add to a quick giftie when I need it, and these stamps are the perfect size for that!
As quick and easy as these are, they would be perfect to whip up a whole batch of them! They could easily be packaged up and given as a hostess gift! :-)
Here's a peek at the inside. I used the to and from from the Label Me set. They fit perfectly!
Here's a little "look-see" on how I created them. Each tag has two parts, the folded base and a top (that is the one that is stamped). I folded a piece of cardstock and placed the Confetti Cuts die on top. Notice that the top of the die is hanging off of the cardstock a bit. That is what creates the folded part, because that part (the folded part of the cardstock) won't be cut. After the base is cut out, adhere your tag top to it, and then add some twine.
My next project features the super gorgeous Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts die set! Oh how I LOVE this die set! I think I could create snowflakes for a whole week straight and not create two that look the same! There are so many different options...it is pure genius!
And guess what? It was designed by Reverse Confetti's own Kay Miller! Yep, the girl is a genius! :-)
I created my ornament out of four different colors of felt. I layered two base die cuts together for added stability. Before gluing the two base cuts together, I added the ornament hanger (Solid Honeydew twine) and bow.
Here's an idea graphic showing just a few of the design options using this die set!
Next up on the hop is Susan Liles. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
