The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! This blog hop is for our October StampTV Kit Release! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projections as you hop along in the hop this month! Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of GKD goodies!!! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.
My first two cards are ones that I shared at the release party, last Thursday night! In case you weren't able to make it, I thought that I would share them here as well. :-)
One thing that most of my Christmas cards have in common, is that they are pretty easy to mass produce and easy to mail (for the most part). I keep the ribbon and other bulky embellishments to a minimum unless I will hand deliver the card.
This first card features the new Holiday Season stamp set, Lovely Lavender cardstock, and snowflake die cuts (from the Snowflake die set). All of these items are from the new Sparking Christmas StampTV Kit! Do you see those fun little snowflake sequins? They are just one of the fabulous incentives available!
My second card features patterned paper and the new Sparkling Christmas stamp set, also form the new Sparkling Christmas StampTV Kit!
My next card is one that I created using the snowflake die set and Holiday Season stamp set. For the background, I watercolored some different blues and turquoises onto some watercolor paper. After it was dry, I embossed the snowflakes using white and silver embossing powder.
I must admit, I am completely smitten with these snowflake dies!! :-)
For this card, I was going for the winter night sky look :-) Again, I watercolored the background. I then embossed the image and sentiments (both from the Sparkling Christmas stamp set) using a sparkly black embossing powder.
Here's a look at the entire kit...
