My card features the new Botanicals 2 stamp set and the brand new Botanicals 2 Icons die set!  I love, love, love Kim's Botanicals stamp sets...and having the matching die sets just make them even more awesome!!  Even for a simple card like the one I made, fussy cutting those flowers would have taken far longer than the 30 seconds it took me to stamp and die cut these flowers!  I love the pop of color these fun flowers provide against the greenery.  The sentiment is from the new Fun & Flirty stamp set (which is hands down my new PS sentiment set!!).

Love is Sweet...

Hi friends!  I'm playing along with January's Sketch For You to Try!  You can find all the details on the sketch challenge (along with the fabulous prize you can win) over at the Reverse Confetti Blog!

 

 

This is such a fun sketch!  I love all of the possibilities for dressing it up, and took just a few liberties when creating my card.  For one, I skewed the back panel just a bit.  Also, instead of a circle element, I chose to use one of the images form the Labeled set (cut out with the Give Thanks Confetti Cuts die set).  For a little more dimension on the white, thin panel, I adhered white hearts (cut out with the Love Note Confetti Cuts die set) on to it giving it a tone on tone look.  For the final touch, I tied some Blossom Twine on and added a few clear droplets.

The Made With Love kit is one my favorite StampTV Kits ever!  I love it all!  The fun new colors, the stamps, the patterned paper...everything!  I really love that it's an all-occasion kit and can be used all year long!

 

I have to admit, this is my favorite card that I made with this kit!  I do love me some messy watercoloring and that bicycle stamp is perfect for that!  I also used the stencil included in the kit to create a tone on tone textured background (I used translucent texture paste).  

 

This card features the lovely patterned paper from the kit, along with the new Massive Messages stamp set.   The great news about this set is that it is FREE when you purchase $75!  Yay!  :-)

 

More stamps from the new Kit!  Aren't those flowers gorgeous?  Love them!  And I'm really loving the new Blue Lagoon color!  It might possibly be my favorite Gina K color right now!!  :-)

 

My final card features more of the patterned paper from the kit, along with one of the foiling elements!  I'm totally technique challenged and haven't used them to foil yet, but plan on doing so very soon.  I think they are gorgeous foiled or not, so I still wanted to use one!  Gina did a video on this, so make sure to check out StampTV!

Reverse Confetti January Special Release...

 

 

 

Hi friends!  You are in for such a treat today!  Reverse Confetti is releasing two new Confetti Cuts as well as a fun new product!  The Clear Tote Bags are perfect for gift giving, as they not only have the ability to hold all sorts of goodies (I love their larger size) but are incredibly easy to decorate as well!  You are going to love these bags...and the new Confetti Cuts die sets that coordinate with them!  And the best news is that they are all available right now over at the Reverse Confetti store!

 

I had so many ideas for these fun bags and can't wait to try them all out!  My first project, though, was to create a little note card set.  I lined the bottom with a piece of black cardstock cut with the new In the Bag Confetti Cuts die set.  I embossed the take note sentiment (from the Posted Note Sentiments set) in white and added some die cut hearts (from the Stamped Note Confetti Cuts die set).  I lined the back of the bag with a piece of black and white patterned paper.

 

My little note card set did not fill up the bag, so I added some paper filler and yummy chocolates.  Because, what's better than a note card set?  Note cards with chocolate, of course!  :-)

 

It helps that the chocolates match my note cards!  :-)

 

I kept the note cards simple in design, using the same sentiment and color swoosh (not sure what else to call it LOL) from the Color Me Happy set.

 

I stamped the swooshes in a rainbow of colors, in keeping with the color scheme of the bag.  Each card comes with its own stamped envelope as well.

 

 

I was so taken with the bold and graphic colors of the bag, I decided to make a coordinating full sized card.  I used the same three die cut hearts that I did on the bag and then added a die cut sentiment (from the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts die set).

 

And you see that super cute bow?  That was made with the brand new Layered Bow Confetti Cuts die set!  I love that there are so many ways to use this!  To create my bow, I die cut the bow out in both black and white cardstock.  I used the smaller layers to cut out the middle parts on the black bow, so when layered together the black acts as a frame for the white underneath.  And at only $10, I will be picking up another one of these die sets so the multiple cutting will go even faster!  I like to do that with die sets that I know I will be using a lot.

Hello...

Hi friends!  Look at me, blogging two days in a row!  :-)  I had some time to do a little "just because" creating the other day and I thought that I would share what I made with you.  :-)

 

I have always loved the feather stamp sets from Waltzingmouse and wanted to play with them again.  I started by stamping a couple of feathers from the Funky Feathers stamp set.  The focal image cluster was created by layering the die cut hello (made from the Mini Hello Die) onto the a white die cut circle (created with the Pretty Circles Die).  I tucked in a couple of vellum sprig die cuts behind the circle, using the Simple Sprig Die Set.

For a little more sparkle, I covered the black die cut hello word with some black Stickles.  I do love me some sparkle!  :-)
