I have always loved the Just a Note stamp set and now having the new Just a Note Icons dies makes me love it even more!  :-)  I used three of the images and coordinating dies to create my card.  And that typewriter...I cannot get enough of it!

Here's this month's sketch...

 

 

I noticed that I was getting low on thank you cards, so I took this opportunity to remedy that!  :-)  For the focal image of the card, I used the largest butterfly from the Butterfly Dreams stamp set (cut out with the coordinating Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts die set).

 

I actually die cut two of the butterflies.  For the bottom one I used a coordinating patterned paper.

Adventure Awaits

 

Happy Friday!  As I just wrote that, I found myself shaking my head in disbelief.  How is it Friday already?  Our summer is absolutely flying by!  Well, before I get all sappy and maybe a little dramatic I had better share my card with you!  Ha!

 

 

This card seems especially fitting for this time of year!  It seems so many of our friends and neighbors are off traveling or soon to be traveling!  I put this card together using several of my favorite Reverse Confetti Items.  The adorable globe was cut from the Globe Confetti Cuts die set.  I stamped the sentiment (from the My World stamp set) onto the rounded rectangle piece, which I cut out using the Class Act Confetti Cuts die set.  The super cute "at" sign is die cut from the Documented Confetti Cuts die set.

Since we are talking about adventures, I thought that I would share a photo or two from our family's latest outing.  :-)  It's been a while since I've shared photos of my kids.  Unfortunately, our 10 year old son was not with us as he was at summer camp.  And for some reason I didn't get any good photos of my daughter.  I'm usually good at snapping photos of her but somehow missed it on this trip. 

I can still hardly believe that I was able to catch these three all sitting together!  :-)  I really {heart} these boys!

 

My husband and Luke strolling the boardwalk at Virginia City (it's a somewhat functioning ghost town in Montana).  I have a sneaking suspicion that my husband is on the hunt for the candy store!  LOL!

Let's Do This

Hi friends!  I wanted to pop in quickly to share a new card with you.   We're super busy with haying so my post will be short today.  :-)

 

 

It's been too long since I've inked up the Coffee set (illustrated by Claire Brennan) from Gina K Designs.  I absolutely adore this set!  I kept my card simple, letting the patterned paper do most of the design work for me.  Ha!  I think the contrast of the busy paper and the simple focal image works though.  :-)  A little bit of lace was all I used for embellishment.
