Today’s set, we are featuring Give Thanks. In this set, you will find fun and cuddly critters, acorn, leaves and fun sentiments to make the most adorable card projects! There are so many possibilities with these sets!

I have to tell you, I just want to squeeze this cute bear!! If all bears were so cute, I wouldn't be so scared of them! Ha! I created a fun, fall scene using the papers and stamps from the new kit. The cute little fence was die cut using the Picket Fence Die. It's not included int he kit, but thought it would work perfectly to ground my scene.

For my second card, I created a wreath using the two branch images in Jellybean Green and Fresh Asparagus ink. I added a few wooden stars (from my stash) to the wreath and a stamped and colored acorn.

Painted Autumn StampTV Kit Inspiration Hop - Day 1

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new Painted Autumn StampTV Kit! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today, we are featuring one of the stamp sets from the kit.

Today’s set, we are featuring Painted Autumn. In this set, you will find beautiful floral and leaf images where you will be able to create the 3 or 4-step stamping technique! You can create one floral image or an entire bouquet of gorgeous autumn flowers. This set will be great to use all year long!

For my first card, I used one of the new patterned papers included in the kit to create a pumpkin shaped card. I did this by cutting out three ovals from the patterned paper and then mounting it on a circle shaped card base. I hand cut out the stem from kraft cardstock. For the focal image, I embossed the Give Thanks sentiment (isn't the font gorgeous??) onto the included Ivory cardstock. I stamped and cut out the largest leaf four times and then added in a few die cut sprigs (I used the Olive Branches Die). A little curly cardstock at the top, some twine, and a few flowers from my stash finished off my card.

My next card features the flowers and largest sentiment from the Painted Autumn stamp set. I really am in love with the font in this set! I used a piece of the patterned paper for the background and a Dark Chocolate cardstock base.

Sprinkled Kindness

Happy Saturday! Verve released some fabulous new goodies yesterday, and I have one more card that I haven't shared yet.

My card features the new Kindness Matters set. I just adore the new flowers, the gorgeous and encouraging sentiments, and of course the coordinating die set! The new Great Kindness Die Set coordinates with both the new Kindness Matters set as well as the previously released Great Friend set!

I started my card by layering six strips of patterned paper scraps to create a background with a bit of a quilted look. I embossed the sentiment onto a vellum strip and then added my triple layered flower (I used all three flower sizes) with some pearls adhered to the middle.

It has been entirely too long since I've inked up my Pineapples Aplenty stamp set! (Just a heads up - it looks like this set is out of stock but there is a place to put in your email address and be notified when it comes in!) I die cut the pineapple out using the coordinating Pineapples Aplenty Confetti Cuts die set. The thanks die cut is from the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts die set.

I mounted the pineapple on a die cut piece created using the Circle Band Confetti Cuts die.

Another absolutely fabulous Paper Smooches release is coming your way! In fact, I am just giddy about it! That little chick...gah!!! The cuteness! I started by die cutting the new Feather Frame Die. I then stamped images from the new Feathered Friends set (die cut with the Feathered Friends Icons Dies). One thing that I love about this die (the Feather Frame Die) is that it can be a feather or a leaf! I chose to color green like a leaf and then added the cute little chick underneath it. :-)
