Good morning! Welcome to the August Reverse Confetti release hop! All of the new goodies that you have been seeing over the past few days are now available over at the Reverse Confetti store!
Just a reminder, we are now sharing the entire hop list at the end of each post! So now you can easily navigate through through all of the Confetti Crew's creations!
I have three cards to share with you today! The first one is probably my favorite! The new Cute as a Button stamp set is right up there with my all time favorite Reverse Confetti products! Since we know several families that are expecting a baby boy soon, I couldn't wait to ink this set up and create something deliciously boyish with it! :-)
I used the new ABC Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die to create the fun background. I stamped one of the onesies from the Cute as a Button stamp set and then die cut it out using the Onesie Confetti Cuts die. The two cute hearts are also from the Cute as a Button stamp set, but I hand cut these out. I layered them on to on of the frames die cut from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts die and a swirly circle, die cut from the Swirlies Confetti Cuts die set.
My next card features the new Forever in Our Hearts stamp set. I love that this set contains a couple of very tasteful and loving sympathy sentiments but some encouragement sentiments as well! While sympathy cards are not my favorite type of card to create, they can be the most touching ones for the recipient. I always tend to gravitate towards subdued colors for these cards, but don't like straight black. I found this dark gray with gold foil patterned paper and thought it would be perfect. I embossed the sentiment using gold embossing powder to match the paper.
I (once again) used some of the frames from the new All Framed Up Confetti Cuts die to frame the sentiment. I popped up the smaller frame to add some dimension.
My final card features the fun new Toucan of Friendship set and coordinating Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts die set! I know toucans are very brightly colored birds but for some reason, I was wanting to create a more subdued card. It might have something to do with the very cool (and definitely Fall feeling) weather that we have been having. Using the flowers that are included in this set, I created a floral background for my toucan.
I used the new Circle Band Confetti Cuts die, added the large scalloped circle (from the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts die set), and then added my focal image on top (which was cut out using one of the circles also included in the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts die set).
Ready for more inspiration? Make sure to hop along to see what the other girls have created...
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Laurie
