It's Papertrey Ink release day! All of the new items will be available tonight at 10 PM EST!
It has been such an honor to share projects along side the design team this month! :-) I have a few more to share with you this morning as well!
My first card features the new Inspired: Love stamp set (designed by Betsy Veldman) and coordinating Inspired: Love die. The flowers are from the Splits: With Love (designed by Maile Belles) stamp set. I embossed them on watercolor paper with detail white embossing powder. I added a wash of color using my Zig Clean Color Brush markers. I fussy cute them and then sprinkled them on my card. Honestly, saying fussy cut doesn't sound right because it hardly took any time at all. :-)
I added just a bit of glitter to the parts of each flower. I didn't want the sparkle to overpower the color so I added it sparingly.
Stamps: Inspired: Love, Splits: With Love
Dies: Inspired: With Love
Paper: White Linen, Watercolor Paper, True Black
Ink: Versamark, Zig markers
Other: Glitter, White embossing powder
My next card features the She Moves stamp set (designed by Lizzie Jones) and coordinating She Moves die set. This is such a unique set! I especially love all of the background images...so fun! The sentiment is from the Making Strides set. I love that many of these sentiments are perfect for many different occasions! I plan on using these in my planner to encourage myself this year!
Stamps: She Moves, Making Strides
Dies: She Moves
Paper: Kraft, Tropical Teal, Ripe Avocado, Smokey Shadow
Ink: Smokey Shadow, Tropical Teal, Simply Chartreuse, True Black
Other: Circle punch, Wood star
Up next is the card I created using the Swan'sational stamp set, designed by Maile Belles. I embossed the swans using gold detail embossing powder and then die cut them using the Swan'sational die set.
I embossed three of the Splits: With Love images, cut them apart, and then tucked them under the white layer. I cut around the edge of the flowers to give a bit of a scalloped look.
Stamps: Swan'sational, Splits: With Love
Dies: Swan'sational
Paper: Smokey Shadow, White Linen
Ink: Versamark
Other: Gold detail embossing powder, Gold Cord
My last card features the new Stroke Speak stamp set. Not only are the paint strokes a fun way to add a sentiment, but the sentiments themselves are very inspirational! I think this one will become a favorite of mine!
For the background, I die cut the Hearts Cover Plate and then filled in some of the hears with some yummy pinks. The heart focal image was cut using the Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" Hearts, cardstock, and felt. I couldn't resist adding a flower to this already girly card. :-)
Here you can really see the shine from the silver embossing powder. I seem to have a habit of embossing my sentiments, but I just love how it looks!
Stamps: Stroke Speak
Dies: Hearts Cover Plate, Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" Hearts
Paper: White Linen, White, Sweet Blush
Ink: Versamark
Other: Silver detail embossing powder, flower, silver cord, felt
