Hi friends! I'm playing along with December's Sketch For You to Try! You can find all the details on the sketch challenge (along with the fabulous prize you can win) over at the Reverse Confetti Blog! There is still time to enter and the prize really is fantastic, not to mention a crazy fun sketch! :-)
Here's this month's sketch...
And this is what I came up with using the sketch...
First off, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Our family enjoyed a low key, stay at home kind of day. Except my poor husband who still had to feed all of the cows and calves. :-)
After Christmas, I am always in need of a lot of thank you cards. We are blessed enough to have many thoughtful and generous people in our lives! :-) I thought the sketch was perfect to create some quick and easy thank you cards...so that is exactly what I did. I modified the sketch just a little bit to accommodate the twine. I just used the twine in place of the skinny rectangle at the base of the circle.
The sentiment is from the Seasonal Sentiments set and die cut using one of the dies from the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts die set. I added some snowflakes from the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts die set. I used Brick cardstock for this card, but it would be fun using different colors as well. In fact, I plan on making several different ones using the Mist and Grape Soda colors.
Thanks for joining me here today!
Hugs,
Laurie
