I'm so excited to be Jeanne Jachna's guest over at the Fusion Card Challenge Blog! I was so excited to get Jeanne's message about being her guest...I mean, Jeanne is a total stamping rock star!!! It's the Fusion Card Challenge Blog's 3rd anniversary, and the challenge is a fun one!
I used both the sketch and the colors from the inspiration photo.
Birch Press just released some fabulous new Valentine dies and I have been wanting to dig in to them for a while. When I saw this challenge, I knew it was the perfect time! :-) I chose a dark gray background, with a layer embossed using a new embossing folder I picked up the other day. The gorgeous heart die is the Prismatic Heart Die from Birch Press. I layered it over one of the hearts from the Simple Hearts die set (also from Birch Press). I glittered it with some fine, sparkly glitter. I wish you could see the sparkle...in real life, it really shines! :-)
For the sentiment I die cut the hello (from Simon Says Stamp Handlettered die set) using some shiny gold cardstock. I definitely have a thing for gold! :-)
