Welcome to the first day of Papertrey's January release group posts! I'm very excited and honored to be sharing projects again this month along with the Papertrey design team!
Today we are featuring two brand new sets! Palm Prints (designed by Lizzie Jones) is bold, fresh, and fun! These unique foliage images shine on their own, or work well paired with other sets! The second set featured today is Latin Motifs, designed by Nichole Heady. Think old world Latin art, but with a updated modern look!
All of the new products will be at 10 pm EST on January 15 in the Papertrey Ink store.
For my card, I started by stamping my background using the Palm Prints stamp set. Using Hibiscus Burst ink, I stamped the large bold leaf and then stamped the coordinating detail image using Smokey Shadow ink. I then stamped the smaller circular leaf using Sweet Blush ink. For some added texture and color, I then embossed one of the leaf images using gold detail embossing powder.
I added a sentiment strip using Hibiscus Burst cardstock. I embossed the Be Still sentiment from the new Inspired: God set by Betsy Veldman. I die cut the coordinating Inspired: God die using some gold cardstock.

My next card also features the new Palm Prints stamp set. This time I paired it with Maile Belles new set, Splits: Hello There. I used a couple of the smaller filler images in the Splits: Hello There set to stamp a subtle background. I then added a strip of Smokey Shadow cardstock that I stamped the larger frame image using Smokey Shadow ink for a tone-on-tone look. I added a strip of vellum cardstock on top with the sentiment embossed on it using black detail embossing powder. I tucked in three leaves that I stamped with the Palm Prints set and die cut using the coordinating Palm Prints die set.
