Hi again friends! I have a sweet little spring themed card to share with you!
Shaped cards are one of my favorite kinds of cards to create! I've had so much fun with the Carrot Treat Box die set from Papertrey creating cute little gifts for friends and family but had the idea of creating a carrot shaped card.
To create the triangle card base, I used the largest triangle die from the Carrot Treat Box die set. I started with a folded piece of white cardstock. I then placed the die on the folded cardstock, making sure the top of the triangle (opposite of the point) was above the folded part of the cardstock. You do not want the die to cut this part or you will loose your fold and end up with two separate triangles. It did take me two passes through my die machine to cut through both layers of cardstock.
After the base was cut, I die cut another triangle out of patterned paper and adhered it on top of the card base. The cute little green sprigs on top was created by die cutting the rectangle die a couple of times out of Mint Julep cardstock. I topped it off with some Sweet Blush Twill Tape.
The cute little bunny is from the So Sweet stamp set, die cut with the So Sweet die.
On the inside, I added a die cut triangle (I used the smaller triangle die and some more patterned paper) with a sentiment from the So Sweet stamp set stamped on it.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
