Queen & Co Glitter Washi Tape Cards

Hi there friends!  Today I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring Queen & Co's fabulous Glitter Washi Tape!  I love to add sparkle to my creations, but don't always love the hassle of dealing with stray glitter all over the place.  The fabulous thing about Glitter Washi Tape is that non of the sparkle comes off!  Add that to being absolutely gorgeous and easy to use and you have something as close to perfection as it gets!

 

My first card features the Skinny Glitter Washi Tape.  Of course I had to line those pretty colors up in ROYGBIV order!  I love that they are sticky enough to stay on a project once added, but not so overly so that you can't pick it up and move it if needed.  I used patterned paper, foam, and heart die from the Heart Throb Kit.  I sprinkled on a few Petite Posies and a Wallflower for embellishment.

My next card features the Red Dot Glitter Tape.  I created a simple background by adding the washi tape to strips of cardstock.  I did this so I could manipulate the strips into just the right spot easier.  The focal image is a die cut heart and sentiment created with dies from the Heart Throb Kit.  I embellished with a White Iridescent Flower and some twine from the Twine Assortment.

Bella Blvd Delight in His Day Collection

Hi friends!  I'm popping in to share a couple of cards I created with Bella Blvd's Delight in His Day collection.  Bright fun colors, happy images, and uplifting sentiments...these are reasons why this is one of my favorite collections!  :-)

 

My first card is one that I designed to be used as either a celebration card or a birthday card.  When the need arises, I can stamp an occasion specific sentiment on the inside.  I started by cutting apart two 3 x 4's (from the 3 x 4's paper).  I layered them on top of a piece of colored paper from the 6 x 8 Paper Pad.  I grounded the 3 x 4's by adhering a couple of borders (from the Borders paper) at an angle towards the bottom of the card.  

 

I embellished with a couple of Paper Pieces, Epoxy Sticker, Mini Hexi Stickers, and alpha stickers. 

 

 My next card started with the large pink heart.  I cut it out from the 6 x 8 Clear Cuts pad.  I added some stitching to the heart for some added texture as well as to attach it to the cardstock.  I chose some paper from the same Delight in His Day collection to add to my card. 

 

I wanted more white space on this card so the writing on the heart would stand out more.  I embellished with Paper Pieces, Washi Tape, Enamel Dots, and a flower and leaves that I die cut using coordinating paper from the 6 x 8 Paper Pad.

My card features the brand new Mr and Mrs Word die.  I love, love, love Kim's sentiment dies and this new one is just as fantastic!  I paired it with the new Triangle die.  I die cut it twice, once from black cardstock and once from gold.  I layered the black die cut on a piece of white cardstock and then randomly added in some black and gold triangles.  I embellished with a couple of gold epoxy hearts.

Papertrey Ink 2017 Anniversary Set

 Hi friends!  Today the Papertrey Ink design team is sharing projects created with the new 2017 Anniversary stamp set. The special customer appreciation set. Grand Finale, truly has it all!  Two of my favorite things are frames and flowers and this set is brimming with them!  Add in the lovely sentiments and you have a very versatile set!

 

Since Mother's Day is quickly approaching, I decided to create a card specifically for that special day.  I started by stamping one of the frame images using Hawaiian Shores ink.  I wanted to create a window of sorts so I went searching through my dies for a small square die that would fit inside the frame.  I found the square die from the Road Signed die set was a perfect fit!

I tucked a piece of silver glitter paper underneath the window and then I popped the top white layer up with dimensional foam.  For the flowers, I stamped them in Raspberry Fizz, Lilac Grace, and Sweet Blush and then punched them out with small circle punches.  I framed the top white layer with a couple of thin strips of Aqua Mist cardstock.  I like to do this because it gives the illusion of added layers without adding the extra bulk (especially when I already have several layers going on).

 

The Mom sentiment is die cut out of Smokey Shadow cardstock using the Mom die from the Family Ties: For the Girls die set  I added adhesive to the ends of the die cut and attached it to the top white cardstock layer.

For embellishment, I tied on some twine and added a rhinestone.

After coloring in the images, I die them out using the coordinating Bear Hugs Confetti Cuts die set.  For the circle element, I die cut the largest circle from the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts die set out of white cardstock.
