Here are the projects that I created...
My first card features the new Blooming Bouquet and Heartfelt Sentiments stamp sets. I have long admired Altenew's floral images and this beautifully detailed set just reinforces my admiration!
To create my card, I started by embossing the large floral bouquet in white onto watercolor paper. Using a fine, round brush I added some color using my Gansai Tambi Watercolor Paints. I added the sentiment by first embossing it on vellum cardstock and then wrapping it around my top layer and securing it to the backside. I have found this is a great way to hid the adhesive. For embellishment, I added several small white sequins.
My next card features the new Floral Fantasy stamp set and another sentiment from the Heartfelt Sentiments stamp set.
Be still my heart! I am head over heels for this new floral set! I just love how you can achieve such a detailed look for minimal effort! To create the background, I quickly painted on some stripes using a flat brush and black watercolor paint. I stamped the flowers using the colors from the Rose Petal Mini Cube Set and the leaves using colors from the Tropical Forest Mini Cube Set.
My next project is a card set created using the new Arabesque Medallion stamp set.
I just love creating card sets! For this particular set, I used the same design on all five just changing the sentiment strip color.
I embossed the large medallion in white. Using my MISTI was really helpful to quickly duplicate this five times.
My final card features the new Baby Balloon stamp set. I was instantly drawn to that large balloon and especially love how many ways there are to customize it!
I was in need of a baby girl card, so I chose some very girlie colors. I created a simple watercolor wash for the background. After it was dry, I stamped the included little heart in dark purple and pink.
