It's day two of inspiration posts featuring the brand new July Papertrey Ink release! There are so many amazing products just released, and for five days the design team will be sharing a lot of inspiration featuring the new items!
Today I'm sharing a card created with the new Cloche Quarters: Summer Fillers stamp set and coordinating die set.
The Cloche Quarters line is so beautiful and completely unique! I think my favorite thing about them is how versatile they are, making it easy to mix and match between sets. And in usual Betsy Veldman style, there are so many thoughtful details making the Cloche Quarters: Summer Fillers a must have!
I have a thing for old watering cans. I absolutely love them!! While I don't have room to collect them in real life, I'm thrilled to have an image of one! So of course this was the very first image I inked up! :-)
I chose a soft color palette, with just a hint of bold color. The patterned paper is from the Lovely Lace Patterned Paper kit
For the sentiment, I die cut the new Ways to Say: Congratulations die out of Smokey Shadow cardstock. I adhered it at a slight curve so that it would fit better fit on my slightly smaller patterned paper layer.
To ground the cloche, I added a strip of white cardstock. I die cut the bottom edge with the To The Point Edgers die set and also added a small strip of Smokey Shadow cardstock on the top.
Finally, I die cut some leaves using the Fancy Foliage die set and then lightly sponged the tops using Spring Moss ink. I tucked them behind the cloche. For embellishment, I added a small twine bow to the watering can handle.
