Welcome back to day four of the July inspiration posts featuring the brand new Papertrey Ink release! There are so many amazing products just released, and for five days the design team will be sharing a lot of inspiration featuring the new items!
Today I'm sharing two cards created with the new Fruit Salad stamp set along with the new On The Wagon stamp set and coordinating die set.
The new Fruit Salad collection is SO much fun!! The dies are perfectly sized to make a statement!
For the background, I sponged on some Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal ink. Afterwards, I splattered it with gold paint.
For the pineapple, I started by die cutting the bottom layer and then sponging with different yellow inks. I layered the die cut top part of the pineapple on top (die cut from gold cardstock).. I embossed the large Hello sentiment (from the Fruit Salad Sentiments stamp set) onto vellum and then adhered to the card by hiding dimensional foam strips underneath the sentiments.
To frame the image, I die cut one of the Infinity Frames an stamped one of the sentiments onto the frame.
My next card features the new On The Wagon stamp set and coordinating die set. To create the background, I sponged on some Harvest Gold and Summer Sunrise ink. To create the water, I first stamped the images using Aqua Mist ink and then stamped directly on top of the ink, Fresh Snow
After the background was complete, I stamped the sentiment in the lop left corer. For embellishment, I added several small wooden stars.
I just love the detail that Betsy includes in her sets and this wagon is no exception! With almost every little part of the card customisable, it provides something for everyone. I wanted to add more "sunrays" behind the wagon so I stamped one of the images from the Shine stamp set.
Nichole is sharing some amazing inspiration on her blog today as well that you won't want to miss!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Laurie
