My first card features the new Perfect Poinsettia stamp set, illustrated by Claire Brennan. I absolutely LOVE this set!! The details are just gorgeous! The different layering images create such depth. I can't wait to stamp these festive blooms is all sorts of different colors: greens, pinks, reds, and whites!
I used pinks and reds: Innocent Pink and Red Velvet for the petals and Sweet Corn and Lemon Drop inks for the centers. Just for fun, I added some black dots with a pen. I mounted the poinsettia background onto an Innocent Pink cardstock base.
My second card features the new Todd Turtle stamp set, illustrated by Beth Silaika. Having lots of boys in my household, I like to have some more masculine cards on hand. I was absolutely smitten with this little crab from the moment I first saw him so of course I had ink him up first! I created a chalkboard effect for the background and added a pop of color for the focal image.
