Embossing is hands down my favorite and most used stamping technique! In fact, I would think it's safe to say that I emboss on 98% of all my cards. Yep, I'm an embossing fan! :-)
I embossed images from the Lovely Laurel stamp set. I started by embossing the stems using the previously released Transluscent Pearl embossing powder creating a very dark brown (almost black) look. I then filled in the leaves using the new Antique Rose, Copper, and Platinum embossing powders.
The trick to embossing this many layers (especially on a dark cardstock), is to cover the cardstock with anti-static powder after each layer.
I really love how the embossing powders stick out on a dark cardstock background!
