Hey friends! I'm participating in the Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates™ blog hop today. We are sharing projects created with the brand new Foil-Mates™ Holiday release!
Make sure to visit and leave some comment love on each of the participating design team members (full list posted below). There will be a $25 Gift Certificate prize for one lucky commenter! The winner will be announced in the Big News Forum in a couple of days.
One thing I value during the Holidays above everything else is time. Time just seems to be on fast forward from the end of October until after New Year's Day! So, when I find something that not only produces beautiful results but is VERY quick and easy to do...I jump up and down for joy! Ha! That is seriously what I felt like doing after creating these projects! These were just made for mass production!
When creating Christmas cards, I tend to gravitate for the easier in design kind. I try to choose designs that are easy to mass produce. For this card, I started by adding a strip of the foiled striped paper (I used Radiant Red Fancy Foils™ and the Ornamental Holiday Backgrounds) onto a piece of patterned paper. By only adding a strip, you can get at least six cards out of one foiled background sheet!
The foil is SO pretty and instantly adds the WOW factor to any creation! For the focal image, die cut one of the Festive Labels (also foiled with the Radiant Red Fancy Foils™) using the Decorative Labels Dies.
My second project is a gift bag that I filled with gift tags. I find that I am always needing hostess gifts during the Holidays and thought some lovely foiled gift tags would make a perfect gift! The focal image is from the Holiday Cheer Sentiments Foil-Mates™.
I swoon a little every time I see the gorgeous design on this image! I didn't foil it because I really liked the way it looked in black. I die cut it out using one of the dies from the Double Stitched Circles Die Set. I added a strip of the foiled striped background behind the focal image for a bit more color.
Here is a photo of all the tags that I added inside the gift bag. I am addicted to making these!! I started by foiling a whole sheet of Tag Tidings with both Radiant Red Fancy Foils™ and Glittering Green Fancy Foils™ and then die cutting them out using the Decorative Tag Dies.
