It's the fifth and final day of the November Papertrey Ink countdown posts! Today I am sharing two cards, created with the new Direct Messages and This Just In stamp sets.
The new release will be available for purchase tomorrow, November 15th at 10 pm ET!
This card is probably my favorite one that I made for this release. It features so many of the products that I love: Direct Messages stamp set, Window Works die set, and Flower Power stamps and dies.
Isn't that new patterned paper absolutely gorgeous! I used both of the Bitty Big: Pink Posey polka dot patterns (which is totally my favorite pattern)! Seriously, I need to stock up on this one because I love it sooooo much!
I used soft colors for the flowers, keeping everything soft and pastel. To contrast with the pastel colors, I used a bold black color on the Direct Messages sentiment.
For embellishment, I added a white mini clothespin with string and a few scattered sequins.
Okay...first, how FUN is this set??? Oh my goodness, I had so much fun creating this card! Since I have four sons, three of which have birthdays coming up in the next 30 days, I created a masculine birthday card.
I went with a vintage black, gray, white, and red color combo. For the background, I stenciled on some black and silver ink using both stencils from the Stencil Basics: Sunburst set.
I just love how many sentiments that are included in this set, making it easy to create custom greetings! For embellishment, I added some black and silver sequins. Since it is for one of my sons, I reined in my desire to add alllllll the pretty ribbons and embellishments! Ha!
