Welcome back to the Papertrey Ink January release countdown! It's day two and today I'm sharing two projects featuring the following new products: Brushed Birds, Year of Psalms: January, Kind Regards, and Ways to Say: Missing You die set.
All of the new products will be available January 15th at 10 pm Eastern.
My first card features the new Brushed Birds stamp set and coordinating die set. The sentiment is from the new Year of Psalms: January stamp set.
After embossing the sentiment, I sponged on Green Parakeet and Raspberry Fizz ink.
After I sponged the background, I die cut it using the new Mix & Mat: Confetti die set. I layered that on some Bitty Big: Green Parakeet patterned paper.
I tucked some die cut sprigs (from the Fancy Foliage stamp set) behind the bird. Isn't that the cutest, fluffiest, most adorable bird ever? I am in love with this set!
My second card features the new Kind Regards stamp and die set. I tucked the blooms so that they were peeking out of the die cut window (from the Window Works die set).
For the sentiment, I die cut the new Ways to Say: Missing You using True Black cardstock. The background is a piece of vellum cardstock layered over Bitty Big: Sweet Blush patterned paper.
For embellishment, I added some Sweet Blush Grosgrain ribbon and a couple of wooden hearts.
