Hi friends! I'm playing along with this month's Sketch For You to Try! You can find all the details on the sketch challenge (along with the fabulous prize you can win) over at the Reverse Confetti Blog! There is still time to enter and the prize really is fantastic, not to mention a crazy fun sketch! :-)
Here's this month's sketch...
I am all about the pinks and reds right now! I don't think I've ever used pink as much as I have in this past month. And Reverse Confetti has some gorgeous pinks and reds in their color line up! I used their lightest pink, Piggy Bank ink pad, along with the new Something Wonderful stamp set to create a toile like background.
I layered the Tall Stripe Panel Confetti Cuts die over the background. For the sentiment, I stamped it onto a circle die cut using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts die set. I layered on a pink (I used Piggy Bank cardstock) die cut heart garland, using the Double Heart Garland Confetti Cuts die set.
Under the circle, I tucked in a floral spray (using the Something Wonderful stamp set an coordinating Something Wonderful Confetti Cuts die) stamped in a darker Rose.
For the finishing touches, I added some vellum hearts (from the XOXO Confetti Cuts die set), sequins, and a string bow.
