Hi friends! How is your Friday going? Although today is significantly warmer, it is still gray and snowy out. I have three kiddos home with a nasty virus as well. So you can imagine how happy I was to break out some fun and cheerful Queen & Co goodies! They always put a smile on my face!
Here are a couple of cards that I created with the Fruit Basket Shaker Card Kit, one of my all time favorites!
One of the things that I love so much about these kits is how versatile they are! You can create shaker cards with them but you can also make non-shaker cards when you run out of those supplies! With the included die set, I die cut two pears out of cardstock. I added a bit of ink sponging to the bottoms to create a little extra dimension and then adhered them to my card using dimensional foam.
The background paper is from the included Fruit Basket 6 x 6 Paper Pad. I sprinkled on a few fimo pears from the Fruit Toppings set.
For my next card I just had to create a shaker card! With the super cute Fruit Toppings, I just couldn't help myself! I wanted the apple and strawberry close together, so I cut a bit out of the apple foam pieces before adhering to my card.
It's hard to see in the photo, but I added some ink sponging on the inside of both the apple and strawberry. For the sentiment, I chose a coordinating stamp (from the included stamp set) and stamped it directly onto a strip of patterned paper.
Thanks so much for joining me here today!
