Welcome to the Papertrey Ink April release countdown! For five days the design team will be sharing projects featuring the brand new release!

Today we are featuring the new Text & Texture: Agate stamp set, Geode Layers die set, Glorious Globes: April stamp set, and Sentiment Staples: Congratulations stamp set.
My first card features the new Glorious Globes: April stamp set! Lizzie's globe series is one of my favorites! There are just so many different ways to use these fun globes! I'm thrilled that this month's set is features many that work well for graduation cards.
I combined two of the smaller globes (the ones on the left and right) with one of the larger ones from the Glorious Globes: Basic stamp set. I adhered the globes onto a die cut created from the Shapeeshifter: Circle 1 die.
For the background, I painted a watercolor wash and then added some brown ink sponging. I embellished with some wooden stars.

My next card features the new Text & Texture: Agate stamp set along with the Geode Layers die set. Betsy has created such a unique and genius set! I've never seen anything like this before...so fun!
I started by stamping the background image onto Soft Stone cardstock using Soft Stone ink. I die cut the Geode Layers dies out using the New Gray cardstock (color name coming soon!), Soft Stone, Luxe Metallic Silver, and Smokey Shadow card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from the Text & Texture: Agate stamp set onto Soft Stone cardstock and placed it underneath the Geode Layers die cuts.
