Welcome to the Day 3 Papertrey Ink June release countdown post! Today I'm sharing a card I created using the new How Are You Today? stamp set along with the Words to Live By: Laugh stamp set.
All of the new products being showcased today will be available June 15th at 10 pm ET.
For my first card, I combined both the How Are You Today? stamp set (and coordinating dies) with the new Words to Live By: Laugh. I stamped one of the flowers repeatedly for the background.
I used one of the tags from the Pitter Patterns Tags die set as well as one of the dies from the Noted: Scalloped A2 die set for the focal image. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Words to Live By: Laugh set and added the coordinating Laugh die.
I embellished with some of the flowers from the How Are You Today? stamp set. I just adore those pretty, whimsical flowers.
For my next card, I added several Laughter die cuts on the background layer. I wanted the tone on tone look but also wanted the die cuts to stand out a bit more so I sponged on a bit of silver ink to the die cuts.
I used another of the sentiments from the Words to Live By: Laugh stamp set on the focal layer. I stamped and die cut the flowers from the Stitching Garden and added them around the sentiment layer.
For my third card, I went with a light and airy look. I wanted the flowers from the How Are You Today? stamp set to be the center focus of my card. I added a bit of ink sponging behind the flowers to help highlight them.
To help frame the flowers a bit more, I curved the bottom sentiment. For an extra pop of color, I stamped the bold butterfly using Pure Poppy ink. I embossed the outline butterfly onto vellum, cut it out, and popped it up so the wings look like they are flying.
